Ok, I installed the old version of playonline. The installation crashed. Then I realized I had to go download the new version for Vista. To my dismay, I now cannot install the new one because it's telling me the old verision is there. I've tried to uninstall it but it's not in my Programs. I tried cleaning my registry of EVERYTHING that says Playonline....still no luck. Now what?

One of two steps, either:

a) Roll the system back to before you installed PoL

b) Install the PoL from your CD's again then uninstall it when that install finishes.

Try the first one first.

Thank you. It worked. Now I'm going to flame Square-Enix for being full of a bunch of dumbass coders. I've never had to use System Restore before...jesus.
