Seems like it'd be a pain in the ass to go back every time. | Y'know, this is a good question, and I haven't been anywhere that's Windy controlled to find out. In Necros I wasn't given the option, nor in the C. Nest but both of those regions are controlled by Beastmen currently. However, if you have joined an army, the NPC that lets you join Campaign will warp you home for like 50 Allied Notes. Odude

Go left and hug the wall, till you get to a point where you can't get any further. There you must cross the river. Getting Started: You'll want to head to the Cavernous Maw in Battilia Downs Located at H-5. Once you enter, you'll get a CS and then be taken randomly to either the Cavernous Maw in Sauromungue Champaign, Rolanberry Fields, or Battilia Downs. Starting Campaign: From here on you can goto whichever nation you'd like to get a Recommendation Letter which works like the following. . . . Windurst: Crawler's Nest
Talk to Kalsu-Kalasu for Key Item: Green Recommendation Letter. You can find Kalsu-Kalasu on a platform to the right once you zone into Crawler’s Nest. It’s about a 30 second walk. Can’t miss him. Afterwards head to Windurst. Bastok: Eldieme Necropolis
Talk to Turbulent Storm for Key Item: Blue Recommendation Letter. You will find him within 30-45 seconds of walking straight from entrance of Eldieme Necropolis @ J-10. Now head to Bastok.
For Bastok People, here is a really nice guide from someone at Blue Gartr San d'Oria: Garlaige Citade
Talk to Randecque for Key Item: Red Recommendation Letter. Randecque is found on the 2nd floor or GC @ I-6. You will reach the 2nd Floor by heading towards I-7 of the first map. Now Head to San d’Oria . You will need to talk to Mainchelite in Southern San d'Oria. He is near the AH of old Southern San d'Oria or if you want the position is I-9. He will tell you to find 3 ??? in East Ronfaure. You can find them at . .
H-8 by the Campaign Fort
I-8 in the water under the mini-waterfall
J-7 in the top left cornor of the square on the map. The ??? is in vegetation
Afterwards, head back to Mainchelite to finish up.
Welcome to campaign. You now have access to sigil, Allied Notes, Campaign Ops and all other Campaign related features along with. . . .
The effect remains even if you take them off.
Duration: 60 mins
Goes Away when you attack or become attacked
Doesn't stack with BRD movement songs
Recharable Unknown BUT you can purchase another one for 980 Allied Notes
Note: I would advise you to do the Map quests as well while your in these dungeons/safeholds. Look below for directions.
. | If you click on San d'Oria (under the "San d'Oria: Garlaige Citadel - I made it red so you can see it easiar), it'll open up a new page that has pictures that show you how to get to the maw and to San d'Oria | | ::Quote Selected:: | | The following user says "Thank You" to Zempten for above post: | | | 11-24-2007, 08:46 AM | #38 (permalink) | | Heir to Odin Oracle of Knowledge Join Date: May 2006 Location: None of your damn business Posts: 3,016 Style: Light - Version 5 My Mood: Thanks: 513 Thanked 281x in 190 Posts Gil: 44,215 Bank: 0 Total Gil: 44,215 Donate | Re: WOTG Starter Information It's actually 30 notes. Even though I'm part of Windurst's army I had no problem picking up a sigil in Bastok.

Example: In the Necros, waiting for Campaign to freaking end, I killed like 10 Hell Hounds and got about 100 A.N. and 100 Limit points. Later I went back, and actually helped like 10 people fight off an Orc attack, died twice, raised a bunch of people, and when I got tired of waiting for it to end I checked in with the NPC. I got 600 Limit pts and 600 A.N.
However just killing EP mobs outside of Windurst [s] I didn't get a single A.N. after killing 5 or 6 mobs. Odude

You get sigil with regen and refresh and go to farm Gnoles. You will still get all the benefitits of sigil (regen, refresh, no TP loss from resting), you just don't aquire allied notes. | | ::Quote Selected:: | | 11-25-2007, 07:42 AM | #43 (permalink) | | Senior Member Brain of Knowledge Join Date: Oct 2003 Posts: 1,487 Style: Dark - Version 5 My Mood: Thanks: 5 Thanked 81x in 21 Posts Gil: 24,560 Bank: 0 Total Gil: 24,560 Donate | Re: WOTG Starter Information Originally Posted by DakAttack | | How are people enjoying Dancer so far? | DNC is really slow till lvl 4. You'll be able to increase your exp/hr ratio by eatting some low lvl atk food too.
I'm probably not going to PT at all till 15 seeing how all zones are invaded by DNC and SCH atm. Hopefully at 15 I can invite an entire PT of DNCs and get away with it b/c of the Curing Waltz thing Last edited by Zempten : 11-25-2007 at 07:48 AM. | | ::Quote Selected:: | | 11-25-2007, 08:16 AM | #44 (permalink) | | Heir to Odin Oracle of Knowledge Join Date: May 2006 Location: None of your damn business Posts: 3,016 Style: Light - Version 5 My Mood: Thanks: 513 Thanked 281x in 190 Posts Gil: 44,215 Bank: 0 Total Gil: 44,215 Donate | Re: WOTG Starter Information Originally Posted by Jonastb | Sigil still gives you the rest of the bonuses whether in an event or not.

-.- I think you missunderstood. I meant it grants all the same bonuses as Signet and Sanction except the extras that you have to pay for (Regen, Refresh, Meal Duration) which only cost 50 this time instead of 100 o. O
What's cool is you can even ask the NPC when your Sigil will Expire. So far the only thing I don't like about Campaign is you have to renew your medals every month... wtf? | | ::Quote Selected:: | | 11-25-2007, 12:02 PM | #45 (permalink) | | Bad Wolf Super Moderator Join Date: Apr 2004 Location: Texas Posts: 3,323 Style: Dark - Version 5 My Mood: Thanks: 32 Thanked 117x in 85 Posts Gil: 2,627 Bank: 16,174 Total Gil: 18,801 Donate | Re: WOTG Starter Information Yeah, I don't get why medals expire after a month. It will probably be a few more days before I really start messing with it, maybe it will make more sense then. I'm guessing there's not a lot of bonuses for doing the Campaign stuff, other than the few items you can buy with allied notes. (The pilgrim's tunic looks decent for low level jobs.)
I'm also guessing we'll get more zones in January. I think someone said there will be 30 new zones, and by my count there's only 18 right now. My guess is it will be Jeuno, Chateau, Metalworks, the zone in Windy with the big tree, then 6 more zones per direction from Jeuno. (I would say atleast Highlands, Plateau, and Tahrongi. It would be really cool if they put in Tavnazia so you could go to the city before it was destroyed.
I digress, anyway. As of last night I think, Fairy had a 45 DNC. I RNG 75 I WAR 37 I NIN 38 I SAM 50 I Woodworking 92+2
