PSA: Fly Cursed Sphere does Dark damage

SE said they changed it to water... maybe only the ones in valk are water based? I believe they said something about why they changed it, or maybe just someone said it as a comment or whatever, but i think it was something along the lines of changing it to water element because it'd be easier for lower levels to defend themselves.

Should check that to be sure.

Let's lower their song skills to F, that'll fix their hax!

BRD's can combine singing + instrument skill, so they actually have (Edit > to work more) to get a good amount of functional skill so to speak.

And playing a Carol takes kinda the same amount of time as Finale, so it wouldn't affect BRDs routine much. and is a shame BRDs rarely use any defensive songs because of the limit, so a change is needed there.

Alternatively WHM could simply get Bardarkra/light (along with RDM and the self-target version).

Balfree: The only thing S-E said is "In accordance with the addition of blue magic, several monster techniques have been altered." Regardless, I tested Damselflies just in case, same result. Most definitely Dark-based, no matter how you look at it.

That's full Bomb Toss damage right there. Clearly, it's not resistant. By extension, we can assume it doesn't resist any of the 6 elements in the wheel. Check this out though:

Notice the difference in damage? I'll give you a hint: in the second screenshot, DarkSpirit was right in front of me before it died.

By the way, I tested Hecatomb Wave. It's actually Wind-based, despite what I thought. And it exhibits the same angle-based damage reduction Wing Cutter and Wyrm breaths do.
