Removing CC Information from PlayOnline?

I'm wondering how/if you can remove your credit card information from playonline, because i cant find a way to do it ~_~.

Yep. You delete your POL ID.

This also (obviously) prevents you from using POL and/or related services (FFXI).

not really..... if you want to remove CC info, then that means you no longer want the service, so uninstalling is the appropriate thing to do.

Edit: to clarify, when S-E says they need a "valid" credit card, they mean one thats under its credit limit, which neither of mine are right now, and i cant afford to change that, so i couldnt create my account if i wanted to.

So i got someone else to make it for me, now we both want his billing information scrubbed from the account, but apparently you cant do that without putting in another valid credit card. This is my free month, i know full well that if my cards cant be billed by the end of my trial month i cant play, but its my free fucking month, i have every right to create an account and play.

You can certainly cancel the Content IDs attached to the account if you don't want to be billed at the end of the 30 days, but I don't know of a way to actually remove the CC info they have on file for you.

No, no you really aren't. Maybe you failed to read the ToS that you agreed to before playing the game, but you aren't entitled to jack diddly. You provide SE with your CC info, they provide you with a video game to play.

mmm thats a big no there, they require it, so when the free month is up, they start charging, if you want to stop and it never charge, then just cancel your ID before the free month is up.

Sorry pal. I know that SE is totally in the wrong for asking anything of you to play their game, but you don't have much else a choice. If you do not want to be charged for the game, cancel your content ID and you will not have to pay a cent... You just won't get to play anymore.

He bought it to give the game a try. He tried for a while to get a buddy pass, but was unsuccessful. He also wasn't able to find a copy of the trial disk, so this was his next best option.
