Wings of the Goddess Site Updated! (10/26/2007)
The promotional site for the eagerly awaited FINAL FANTASY XI expansion has been updated with a new section detailing the massively multiplayer battle system known as "Campaign". To learn more of the Allied Forces of Altana and their epic struggle to fend off the armies of the Beastmen Confederate, as well as exclusive information on other expansion-related issues, click here

Info on Campaign (same stuff that was on Alla). Pics of new mobs Gnole (the werewolf looking thing), Slug and Ladybug.

it would be cool if players can be cursed with lycanthropy and become werewolves themselves.

Campaign Sounds interesting. With a military background, I know fighting isnt all there is to war. Supply running, Building fortifications... Sounds great.
