If they came out and said everything they expected to add it will damper the surprises as people wait for the actual release. Add in the fact that the features they do announce may not be ready at launch...and possibly even delayed. (i.e. last expo they had a time table of all the features they were going to add, and were months late on most of them...with one never even being finished).
