Hey all pretty much i have just begun to play on Final fantasy online, im not new to games of this genre, as i have played previous games like it in the past e.g wow, Gw etc, and even the previous Final Fantasy games soo im not new to the terminology. What i do need the help with is the jobs i should take, i am currently a turanto (lil dude) red mage and do not know what best secondary job would be to take with this. any comments merely stating im a noob or general help and advice would be much appreciated :D thanks all

White Mage and Black Mage are common support jobs for Red Mage early on, but as you level up higher, Dark Knight, Ninja, Blue Mage and other support jobs are also possible to add to your list of support jobs

Now, what's a Turanto?

thanks for the replies guys ill probably goooo red mage with black mage then is it possible after ive picked this as a second job to change the black aspect to a summoner when im a higher level sorry for being such a noob lol

haha yehhh i can see tht its good tho the wow forums are full of americans whooo just talk about how good their char is :S lol i was wondering if their was any particular class which is the fatsest too solo level aswell as ive heard tht a beast master or white mage are fast levellers

There is no limit to how often you can change jobs, that being said running Summoner as a sub job is not a good idea, your sub job is half the level of your main which would mean that your summons would be very weak with respect to the mobs you would be fighting..

Fast is a matter of opinion, BST can level well above because of pet, however prior to 23 you take an XP hit for having a claimed pet, after 23 you can use jug pets without penalty.. WHM does not solo well very squishy early, but it levels quickly because of demand in party..

I wouldn't worry about speed of leveing, take your time and enjoy the journey, this is a MASSIVE world.

Not that a BST should rely on just jug pets when soloing for exp. Jug pets are just too weak to hold up against mobs that give decent exp.

Level 35 (the level BSTs get the job ability Leave) is a much bigger milestone for BSTs to be able to exp without that pet penalty.
