Most people solo to like level 20 ish now anyway. I was leveling drk and rng with the AR and it was stupid-fast to solo. One-shotting an EP for 80 xp? Lawl. I did 11-14 in 1h, then when it wears off, the thing is ready again.

Oh I did have 1 pt on drk. I was soloing in Valk and the leader said to meet in Korraloka so we gathered there. Pt was me as drk, thf (leader), brd, smn, and war. Someone else, I think a mnk was supposed to meet us, but never did. First battle the leader died and fake d/c. Then the war died about 5 minutes later and didnt set his hp in bastok so he HPed and left the pt. The smn, brd, and I kept fighting the worms, and if we had any problems, we ran away and healed up. We got chain 4 a few times against IT mobs with just the 3 of us. The rings were ridiculous and the 3 of us did 16-20 in approx 1.5 hours. Anyone who didn't get it yet, make sure you do.

ya know, using the AR ring for low leveling just makes no sense IMO. /shrugs.

Why would it matter what level you used it? You still get the same amount of bonus exp if you use it at 1 or 74.

Yeah...It's nice to use at the low levels to get over the 'humps' of levels that tend to happen there.

Just now I was in a party as a paladin that was REALLY BAD. I mean, it was fine logistically but I was level 11-13 through it but the party was 11-15 :/; We were getting 100 exp per kill at the end, and I was using the AV ring. If I hadnt used it I would've probably barely gotten level 12.

I probably should have left the party but the party leader was trying so hard I felt bad. XD

Let's keep some perspective here. We're talking about 3k extra exp. That's less than an hour of exp in any decent six member party. It doesn't really matter when you use it.

finding ANY six member party from levels 10-20 can be a chore. Any don't tell me you are comparing the speed of exp PT from levels <30 to meritpos?

I wouldn't bother with exp rings in general in Dunes levels. Unless you have a static or a JP party, you can't even be sure it'll last 20 minutes, and there's no guarantee you can get another party soon after it breaks.
