Does anyone know if you have guild points items like aprons etc, do you lose them if you change your contract to another guild?

Also, I know theyre changing it so that you can start a new char on any server but some people have been mentioning character migration, where you can change what server your current characters are on, is this true? It would be a bit hard to move to a server where the name is already taken D:

To my knowledge the server migration is yet to be set into motion, and is possibly just speculation at this point. However the name issue is a simple fix, the way WoW did it and I'd imagine any other game with server migration, is simply to force you to change your name upon next login once your character has been moved.

Oh and as for the guild thing, last time I played FFXI it didn't take those other items away from you.

I lost my WW guild points when I changed contract to the CC guild. It actually warns you about this before you can change contracts I believe.

Yeah, I dont mind the points its the guild point items I was worried about like aprons etc
