Wow, I'd love to meet up with you guys in-game, but would I really want to leave all my friends behind? I don't know. :/ I mean, I don't have many, but the ones I have are really great.

Hades sucks, don't come here. I know a few cool people from my current LS, but if it meant moving to a 'better' server(I don't know even what a better server would be like, elaborate {[Can I have it?]})and the charge wasn't ridiculous(I'm assuming a fee would be involved) I wouldn't mind migrating to play with a few FFXIOnline members.

What? It's true. There is very little difference between any of the servers. All the same mobs, all the same loot, and the economies, while slightly different, are pretty much the same as well.

Well, yeah, but I guess it's just human nature to specifically search for any differences.

Ispo ergo once I heard that Fairy had a fairly infamous economy, and that Pheonix (I heard from someone else) is filled with a slightly higher-than-average amount of 360 players.

Whether these a true or not, I have not the slightest clue (got nothing to compare). but these are the kinds of things one looks for.

(Though the Task-Force now sorta debunks that whole economy thing.)

For the most part, folks have only ever played on their own servers. So any info of that sort is generally pretty inaccurate, as folks have no real way of checking their server against all of the others.

I vote for kicking everyone out of one server and making it the FFXIOnline exclusive server.



(And yeah considering how things have been lately I'd move to another server without much problems, it's just that I don't play that much anymore. )

Sadly none of it is gaming related. I do the usual, going out, work late at times, study some books to be more prepared for work, and stuff like that.

Nothing really interesting yet very time consuming, so I end up having less than 2 hours (sometimes less than an hour) a night to play, which is nothing for a game like XI.

Well, while I do agree that we should wait until more info is released before making plans, scheming is just too fun!

I'm going to have to go with the trend of voting for your own server, Unicorn. Fairly small server I think, with about 2,300 people on at most (used to be 4k+ sometimes) RMT while annoying at times, is not a big thing.

Endgame activitywise I don't know much about. I've got some friends in a HNM LS who normally win most claims(king behemoth/behemoth, aspidysomething, fafnir, etc, I don't think they do sky), so either the HNM scene isn't that big, or they are just good.

Dynamis seems to be fairly active although not many shells do the CoP areas to my knowledge, it's mostly like northlands/jeuno/starter cities.

The economy is pretty decent, not many people nowadays are into HELM, or gardening, so you can make a decent profit off of those but it will take a little bit of time. I'd be doing more of the HELM activities but I just don't have the space for it -.- And I want to lvl up my smithing before I go into mining.

Most gear isn't too expensive, with the exception of +1s, and some of the harder to get gear. For instance Hauby/SH are in the 900k range and seem to be dropping, woodsman rings are about 300k, and alot of the nice gear (amemet mantle+1, chivalrous chain, potent belt, etc) is affordable in the 300k-900k price range depending on what it is.

The server is pretty nice, not many idiots(well, maybe valkurm), most people care about their performance in exp parties, and you will rarely find job discrimination such as loldrg, lolpup, lolbst, or lolthf.

Actually you'll probably see plenty of bsts in parties (or at least I have) which is totally cool that I finally get to party with bsts!

As is the case with many people I suspect, I have some friends here that I would hate to leave, so I don't know if I would want to change servers if they didn't come with me. Although I probably wouldn't mind starting over with a new character on another server.

Honestly, I have no preference and I'll go with the flow. It would be nice to have a group together. But then again, what would we do?
