If you wanted to watch the movie in HD, you could:

1. Down load it and change your PC settings to match HD, i think you would need to find a HD version of the movie? i dunno
2. Down load it and stream it to your Xbox, there are a few programs on the net that lets you do this with out "Buying" the program that MS wants you to buy...(i'm pretty sure Windows Media player can do it to, i think you need to change the file extrension, worth looking into).
3. Lastly, reinstall FF ^^

Well, I'm here with my pal's 360, but I couldn't figure it out.
I still don't like the fact that you can't start POL without the disc. Bleh.

Sorry to ressurect this thread, but this was a subject near and dear to my heart as my children and I have been wanting to re-view the opening movie since we saw it after installing it the first time.

For anyone NOT playing it on the 360 you should be aware...it isn't like the PS2 or the PC. There is no option to re-view the movie on any of the menus in POL. There's no options to re-view the intro movie in the menu just before getting into POL on the 360.

We were only able to re-view it by logging out of POL, selecting "INSTALL", agreeing (again) to the service agreement and committing to "install" the game. The intro movie played and the game began to install right after the movie. It asked if it should write over user information (macros? passwords?) and then confirmed that. I paniced, not wanting a reinstall and tried to "cancel" the installation. Doing so, it warned me that all installed files would be removed. I left anyway and when I went back into POL my game would not play. So now I'm reinstalling.

The ironic thing is, as I started to install with the actual intent of installing, I had to watch the movie...again..>... and doing nothing (ie. not panicing and pressing my "A" button furiously to cancel) a dialog came up and asked if I was certain I wanted to install.

If I had waited for this question last time, I might not have corrupted my install, but I'm not sure. Regardless, I've seen the movie enough in HD (which is why I wanted to see it again) to not want to risk reinstallation again.

This is directed to 360 players only: Has anyone playing on the 360 actually re-viewed the intro movie and avoided having to reinstall the whole bloody game?

This is directed to everyone else: Are there intro movies to Zilart, Promathia, Art Urquan and Goddess?

There aren't intro movies to the expansions, unfortunately. I kind of wish there was, though. That'd be pretty neat. Just cutscenes in-game when you start the mission storylines, but that's not the same thing.

Sorry, i've looked for 2 years now, only way to see the opening again on the 360 is to reinstall.
Or find it on the net and watch it there.
