Iv never heard of my LS's talk about TP Burn parties, im thinking maybe I should suggest this as they sound like great fast lvling strategies, no?

They're not really effective until the late fifities, and even then only intermittently and in the right zones against the right mobs.

While I haven't heard of people doing these in a long time, there were also SMN PTs ("astral burns") 6 SMN, with one SMN/BRD or 5 SMN and 1 BRD. Worked really well in KRT with 1 SMN pulling skellies with carby, keeping sneak up so he doesn't aggro, while the other 5 SMN summon Titan right as the skelly makes it to camp. The 5 SMN have titan use Mountain Buster on the skelly and it drops in <5 seconds. The puller SMN would go grab another skelly, the SMN/BRD would ballad/everyone else would rest. Lather, rinse, repeat.

Manaburn parties are typically 4-5 blm's, a refresher, and sometimes a tank. Basically all the BLM's just go all out nuking until its dead.

My experience with XP has been about this.

Average standard PTs at 4-6k/hr.

Good standard PTs can get up to around 8k/hr

Manaburns tend to range from 8-12k/hr

My average TP burns are around 12-15k/hr.

My best TP burns are around 15-20k/hr.

Drg/mage x5 is a waste. Drg/mage x3 Drg/brd and Drg/dd sub works out better. 5 healing breaths on one person is overkill.
