Re: Special Task Force. Where art thou?

Yet again SE says they will do something and don't. I have not seen a decrease in RMT since they announced the Special Task Force. I'm remaining sceptical due to their track record, meh. I think alot of RMT are going to have to leave anyway after christmas. They are training armies of characters for the inflation but its just not going to be as bad as it has been before with the amount of players remaining, I can see this christmas costing the RMT more than they will make. I hope.

Knightwell in Ronfuare with insect paste seems to be the best place. Plus, if you're doing it for the Lu Shang's quest, the NPCs are right there.

I don't know about everyone else... but... I will at least never go stand among those bots when I fish >.> I feel depressed seeing that many bots... One reason I don't fish in port jeuno anymore.

Sandy with insect paste is good until about 20 because you can skill up on tri-colored. After that I would move to Windy Waters or maybe Rabao

Re: Special Task Force. Where art thou?

For just pure moat carp, West Ronfaure's lake is vastly superior to Windurst or San d'Oria.

For moat carp with additional skillups up through and beyond level 27, I'm personally fond of the bridge in Zeruhn Mines.

I tried it there but didn't find it too efficient. After 27 you have to use worms to skill up which results in crayfish catches.

Re: Special Task Force. Where art thou?

If you're looking to skillup while catching carp for Lu Shang's, Yhoater Jungle is the place. Use Insect Balls and you can turn in every fish caught. Forest carp bites suck, but if your main goal is to catch carp, then you'll have a great time.

Re: Special Task Force. Where art thou?

Top Moat Carp fishing spots in the game (based on fish/catch rate, accessability, and level requirements) is Knightswell (right by Outpost) and Rolanberry Fields (close to Jeuno).

Edit: Forgot about Forest Carp being usable now too, which there's an excellent bite/catch rate in Yhutunga/Yhoator jungle for Forest Carp. Little bit more work to get to/from if you don't have OP/warp, but nicer scenery. Just don't fish up a Bloodsucker.

Re: Special Task Force. Where art thou?

Seeing as the STFU has already taken action against 9000+ accounts, we'll see further, large-scale action taken in the near future.

Remember, there is always going to be RMT.

Ameroth's Screenshots: I actually admire the way they gave the Taru girls proper Taru girl names ._. Am I a bad person?

Re: Special Task Force. Where art thou?

I like the Shepupu named taru F.

Anyway, found this on BG, may or may not be helpful.

(hosted on my own account, though not originally mine. Didn't want to take others bandwidth)
