Are you able to collect a certain job's AF Armor even if you aren't that job???

I am just curious about this. I am thinking, it would be cool if I could get the AF Armor for my second character by using my first to collect it. Even though I could get it with my second character, it would be cool to just have it waiting for him.

So...anyone know?

No I believe AF armor is just for the specified classes. Although it would be cool if you could do that. But... your asking to just like save it for your other character right? Not wear it and just give it to him? Yea I guess that will work.

i may be wrong but i thought you couldn't sell or give away af armour

Yeah, Saken, I'm not meaning WEAR IT, I know for a fact you can't do that unless you are the same job as what the AF Armor is for.

I'm just curious if you are able to COLLECT AF Armors, in a sense.

i dont think you should be able to get wm af as a dk for eg and id guess that you cant

You can't sell/buy/transfer AF equipment.

You can't get AF equipment unless you have a high level character of that job class. (The quest won't be offered to you).

Most of it is 52+.

Anyhow, even beyond the rest of it, you can just waltz into the Vana'diel corner store and get this stuff. If you want a second set of AF you'll have to level the job up to the requirement, then convince 5+ people to go to zones they hate for several hours and help you get all the crap done for each quest.

Not likely.
