I also use a PS to PC converter and a PSOne dual shock controller, vibration works for me. I've lost count of how many people have PMed me asking how to get the right analog stick to work properly for the camera.

I dont really mind the right analog thing.. it wasnt worth the trouble to fix it, just a minor adjustment

Unfortunately the attachment is messed up because the forums got hacked, that's why my name is "pieng" in that thread. Anyway, I think you choose the bottom calibration option in the FFXI config. I'd check, but I don't have FFXI on this computer.
