What is NM

Okay ... I know they are like strong monsters, but what does it stand for, and what do they do that is so special from other monsters ?!

Notorius Monster also sometimes called Named Monster, but its the same thing

Also the reason that they are special is because sometimes you have to defeat them to complete a quest or an objective or to get a really cool item
