There's something wrong with him. Every time I've tried to use him since the update I've been kicked from the game. All the other players stood around the taru seem to be getting kicked too.
Seriously annoyed about this. Got invited to an xp party as my drk, ran to the warp taru and got kicked. Logged back in, apologised to the leader, tried to warp again and got kicked. Tried another 3 times and I've been kicked every time. No there isn't a besieged occuring but there will be one soon and I really wanted to get to that party. There doesn't seem to be a problem with my dats because I have cast warp and had warp II cast on me so far today. By the time I switched to whm, teleported myself and got a chicken to Jeuno the leader had found another DD.........
I really wanted to test my new abs-tp spell too | | ::Quote Selected:: | | 07-24-2006, 11:39 PM | #2 (permalink) | | Junior Member Join Date: May 2006 Posts: 197 Style: Light - Version 6 Thanks: 0 Thanked 2 Times in 1 Post Gil: 6,556 Bank: 0 Total Gil: 6,556 Donate | Re: /cry - must kill the warp taru Don't use Azaril's Windower or don't use the Warp Taru.

Only case I've heard of the Warp Taru messing with people's game was due to Windower.
You got me then. The Knight of Faith resigns the dream, only to believe it.

Basically any time an NPC would cast a spell on you, it causes the game to crash. So if you're using the Windower, you'll need a different version. | | ::Quote Selected:: | | 07-25-2006, 03:31 AM | #11 (permalink) | | Junior Member Join Date: May 2006 Posts: 491 Style: Light - Version 6 Thanks: 0 Thanked 1 Time in 1 Post Gil: 7,148 Bank: 0 Total Gil: 7,148 Donate | Re: /cry - must kill the warp taru I heard about this happening and played in regular full-screen mode and had no crash getting sanction or warping myself (haerd that crashed a blm). I couldn't try the warp taru because he was missing (might've got taken during the update lol). | | ::Quote Selected:: | | 07-25-2006, 03:36 AM | #12 (permalink) | | Junior Member Join Date: Jul 2006 Location: que? And what's wrong with using a program that allows you to perform a basic function that should be in the game anyway? Oh no, they can actually use their computer for something else than FFXI when they are sitting in Jeuno for 5 hours LFG. Damn I didn't know drinking water whilst playing ffxi prevented me from using the warp taru. Hmm I'l have to be more careful with my drinking habits in the future. Wouldn't want to get banned for the simple sake of preventing dehydration. | Originally Posted by SorrowFool | | And what's wrong with using a program that allows you to perform a basic function that should be in the game anyway? EDIT: Forgot to mention, ran it on my other pc after the updates and used the warp taru. Worked fine so I'm copying all the ToAU dats to my normal machine now.
