Encoutering errors trying to get the taru NPC to warp me. If you're using Windowers, you might want to NOT use it when you are using the warp taru. I'm not sure if this is everyone, but the ones that don't use Windowers do not seem to have a problem. FYI

Just tested this myself. I use the Windower, and it crashed on Taru Warp. Does it do this on regular Warp also? EDIT: Normal Warp functions fine. It is kina funny to stand next to the Warp Taru and see all the people DCing.

I heard it crashes if you try to get Sanction too. With windower anyway.

they probably did that to prevent people from using windower. I don' t use it myself but well...I guess thats the direction it was going with the recent temp ban of third party prograM thingy. |

What's going to be really funny is the people that aren't aware that it is a Windower-thing. They make the GM call for a bug... [GM]Dave>>Greetings Xxcloudrocksxx! How may I assist you today? Xxcloudrocksxx>>I think this Warp Taru is broken. [GM]Dave>>You're using a Windower, you say? ...Dowloading data... === Area: Moridan Gaol === Xxcloudrocksxx>>lolz hey wtf are we doing here? [GM]Dave>>Jorgy is hungry. Enjoy your suspension too. Jorgumund hits Xxcloudrocksxx for 34,892! Xxcloudrocksxx dies.

I doubt SE did it to stop windower users, when they could break windower altogether. Heck, updates used to always break windower, so I wonder if SE purposefully worked around it since they knew windower wasn't in good condition as-is, so that their PC users would still be able to use it. I'm sure SE knows that it's extremely popular with their PC userbase.

I use an older version of the windower, I think the original version with the plug in features, and never had any of the DC problems yet. I also don't use any of the actual plugins, not even TP PT, so maybe they're the cause of all the DCs.

There is a WindowerLite you can use that has no plugins, no console, nothing. It just windows the game. No links of course, but I'm sure you can find it if you look.

It's just the newest version of windower. The [don't know if I'm allowed to say the version o_O; ] version still works fine.
