Heck, I barely have enough room to say what I'd like to say when LFG, much less when hoping to get picked up for a quest or mission.

It's frustrating, but unless someone can think of a way to magically change the playerbase from a lazy one to one that likes to communicate, we're kind of SOL in that area.

Eh, no. Boot camp is supposed to be hard.

That Vana'diel Tribune ad thing... It would be really nice if they ended up integrating that into the Linkshell Community thing. And maybe make it available directly from the main POL or FFXI menu. No, most people wouldn't use it, but I would guess that on average, the players that did would be a little more intelligent and resourceful. Y'know, the kind you'd want to do missions with anyway.

Thus, the skills (Parry, Guard, Summoning, etc) that are designed to keep you as a paying customer by wasting your time in-game, can be circumvented. 3. Pay now, or pay later II: An option to have all areas open for an additional cost. Thus, allowing paying customers to enjoy all areas without having to put in the countless hours to get to them. 4. Develop a stand-alone version of FFXI. Therefore giving you time for your personal life, blah blah blah...

Corthaemus, I dont think any of those things would ever happen.

S-E does care, The message in the start-up is just a suggestion.

Its your own personal time, and you have to plan around it, and make a balance between this game and your personal life.

The pay for skill-ups would be too cheap, and too easy. If you want to accomplish anything in this game you have to put atleast a bit of time into it.

(And i dont even want to go into how much trouble the third one would cause.)

Still its your life, play the game if you have the time.

Point 10 should be like WOW. Auto-queueing for instances.
For example, on country specific missions (Rank Missions) we can go talk to an NPC bodyguard or attache of the leaders of the 3 nations. They will ask if we want to queue up for a mission and see if anyone else is needing it. We can then choose from that list people who want to party up for it.

Have an NPC in norg for ZMs.

Have an NPC in Tavnazian Safehold for COPs.

Have an NPC in Al Zhabi for Assault and ToAUs.

No actual limitation from the PS2 should affect this either. Just smart planning.

I like the Linkshell idea. At one time in the past I had 5 differen LS' that I would randomly roam. That can take up a lot of space, and that was before GB V & VI.

As a Mage I filter out a lotta stuff in the chat log, but I wish there was a way to filter out everything BUT WS damage, Skillchain effects, and Magic Bursts. I don't care about the random little hits on the way to the Skillchain, but I like seeing the big number from Skillchains and MBs. Nothing makes me happier than to see somebody close Light for 1k+, the effect mirrors, and a 1600dmg MB. Those things warm my soul!

The NPC Storage needs to be expanded too! Nothing past Lv.50 can be stored! I know past AF, not too many people buy full sets of anything, but there are sometimes where you would. I actually bought the full set of Errant despite not needing the hat, only to find I couldn't store it!

I like the Auto-Sort as well, but at the same time I can see that if we had it, it does make botting easier. The only thing that seems to Auto-Sort are the Imperial coins you buy with Imperial Standing.

I'd love more text color and chat filter customization. Seriously, folks, our limited options are kind of ridiculous.
