I recently got Final Fantasy XI and I started a warrior character level 12 but decided it wasn't for me so I made a new character, a black mage. I still have my warrior though. So my question is, is that can I give my new character some gil or any items? I apologize in advance if this topic was already covered but I couldn't seem to find it.
Thanks in advance. | | ::Quote Selected:: | | 07-08-2006, 11:02 PM | #2 (permalink) | | Junior Member Join Date: Oct 2004 Posts: 27 Style: Light - Version 6 Thanks: 0 Thanked 0x in 0 Posts Gil: 994 Bank: 0 Total Gil: 994 Donate | Re: Small question yes you can just go to a near by ah and talk to the npcs near by and they will ask for the name of a character you want to send items to then go to the char and check there d box | | ::Quote Selected:: | | 07-08-2006, 11:10 PM | #4 (permalink) | | Senior Veteran Oracle of Knowledge Join Date: May 2006 Posts: 4,570 Style: Light - Version 6 Thanks: 114 Thanked 1,399x in 846 Posts Gil: 3,640 Bank: 210,459 Total Gil: 214,099 Donate | Re: Small question | Originally Posted by Deimon | | I recently got Final Fantasy XI and I started a warrior character level 12 but decided it wasn't for me so I made a new character, a black mage. | You could have just changed your job to Black Mage. | | ::Quote Selected:: | | 07-08-2006, 11:44 PM | #5 (permalink) | | Keeper of Knowledge Join Date: May 2006 Location: Al'Taieu Posts: 2,681 Style: Light - Version 6 My Mood: Thanks: 464 Thanked 446x in 311 Posts Gil: 5,026 Bank: 39,409 Total Gil: 44,435 Donate | Re: Small question | Originally Posted by Mhurron | | You could have just changed your job to Black Mage. | Wow, it really is late, that made me giggle like an idiot. ~~ ~~ ~~ ~~ ~~ ~~ ~~ ~~ ~~ ~~ ~Aksannyi~~Hades~~75WHM~75RDM~62WAR~71BLM~~Mama Gamer~~<3 Cerealkiller~ ~~ ~~ ~~ ~~ ~~ ~~ ~~ ~~ ~~ ~~ ~~ ~~ ~~ ~~ ~~ | | ::Quote Selected:: | | 07-09-2006, 04:04 AM | #6 (permalink) | | Junior Member Join Date: Jul 2006 Posts: 5 Style: Light - Version 6 Thanks: 0 Thanked 0x in 0 Posts Gil: 427 Bank: 0 Total Gil: 427 Donate | Re: Small question If his main char was a Hume WAR , then he should better get a Taru to be Mage.

Therefor change race and get a new char ( I had exactly the same problem) | ...I'm not a Taru, but I do okay as a mage.
Infact, I could contend that Hume makes a better mage class than Taru because they're more durable and when the fit hits the shan (like a DMG-crazy BLM busting out a -ga spell they shouldn't have), they can stand their ground under an onsluaght of links better than a taru.
Yes, it was inspired by the Simpsons

Folks. Race doesn't matter. Play the race you want to play, not the one that someone else tells you you should. | | ::Quote Selected:: | | 07-09-2006, 12:25 PM | #10 (permalink) | | J...atatouille Super Moderator Join Date: Dec 2002 Posts: 8,338 Style: Light - Version 5 My Mood: Thanks: 5 Thanked 136x in 106 Posts Gil: 28,941 Bank: 0 Total Gil: 28,941 Donate | Re: Small question | Originally Posted by earthjig | | If his main char was a Hume WAR , then he should better get a Taru to be Mage. | no

but there are others who with the help of their art and their intelligence
transform a yellow spot into the sun.
