The coolest thing just happened yesterday my wife who never plays games has been playing FFVII for like 5 hours strate. What happened is that my sister and her hubby came in for the 4th and are staying at our place and my sis is a huge FFXI fan. So she was playing on my PC and my wife was watching her play next thing you know she wants to try it but she dosen't know how to use the controler so my sis has got her learning on FFVII. Now she wants me to get her a copy so we can play to gether shes been pouring over my notebooks and already knows what race, city, and job she wants to start with. am I lucky or what?

Relationships based on MMORPGs rarely last long. It's usually the exposure to new people and a difference in intrest that kills it.

Are you saying shes going to dump me for some PAL in shiny armor once she starts playing? Cause I think if she was going to leave me over some game she would have done it 4 years ago befor we had a kid. She just started playing this just gives use one more thing we can share.

hey, I know plenty of ingame couples, or at least people who are married. The people who typically have problems are those who meet people online and only get to know them that way (You know, the dragoons with "<3<3<3I only have love for my Kittyaru<3<3<3" in their bazaar comments.)

There's really nothing wrong with MMOs in a relationship, as long as you remember that RL is more important.

As for getting into a game ot be with your significant other, that's all very well and nice, but let's not forget the classic case of the woman who got into the game to be with her man, and found out that because he had her in RL he didn't particularly want to game with her as well.

But most of the time these things work out fine. I got a few husband/wife couples in my LS and nothin seems to be wrong with their relationships at all.

Faith my frind who else would give my wife the idea to start playing shes watched me play for years and never took an intrest befor. If you have faith the gaming GOD will give you a hot blond that likes FFXI too.

P.S don't time it it took 4 years for me.
