feel free to tell me if i am wrong.
And alot of the members in my ls won't use any ranged attacks unless they pull or the ammo has a status effect on it. it wasn't me... no wait... it was. | | ::Quote Selected:: | | 07-03-2006, 08:54 PM | #18 (permalink) | | Loaded With Sodium Oracle of Knowledge Join Date: Jul 2005 Posts: 7,964 Style: Light - Version 6 Thanks: 448 Thanked 1,586x in 1,000 Posts Gil: 2,093 Bank: 28,327 Total Gil: 30,419 Donate | Re: Skillup your Throwing while you can~ NIN also has an A- rating in throwing as opposed to other jobs that have C through F. What works well for one job doesn't work for another.
And I don't personally think we need throwing weaponskills. | | ::Quote Selected:: | | 07-03-2006, 09:11 PM | #19 (permalink) | | Veteran Member Keeper of Knowledge Join Date: Nov 2005 Location: Honolulu Posts: 2,250 Style: Light - Version 6 My Mood: Thanks: 62 Thanked 34x in 20 Posts Gil: 13,193 Bank: 0 Total Gil: 13,193 Donate | Re: Skillup your Throwing while you can~ | Originally Posted by Aelathir | NIN also has an A- rating in throwing as opposed to other jobs that have C through F. And I don't personally think we need throwing weaponskills. | It's good enough that the ranged weapons give us leverage with TP gaining. I see time and time again complaints about NINs who can't keep up with TP. Let me tell you something, a NIN is, first and foremost, a utility DD player. Tank was never the original intent of the developers. That being said, to be an awesome NIN tank, you'll need to find ways to keep hate as well as stay alive. One of the ways you can keep hate is by dealing damage. The only consistent damage is through weaponskills and ranged attack. Ratk gives you TP faster. That to me is already a worthwhile investment in my book. | | ::Quote Selected:: | | 07-03-2006, 09:19 PM | #20 (permalink) | | Loaded With Sodium Oracle of Knowledge Join Date: Jul 2005 Posts: 7,964 Style: Light - Version 6 Thanks: 448 Thanked 1,586x in 1,000 Posts Gil: 2,093 Bank: 28,327 Total Gil: 30,419 Donate | Re: Skillup your Throwing while you can~ | Originally Posted by Aeni | | It's good enough that the ranged weapons give us leverage with TP gaining. Yeah, it's expensive to go through stacks of Shurikens, but that's what NIN is all about. | | ::Quote Selected:: | | | Thread Tools | | | | Display Modes | Linear Mode | Posting Rules | You may not post new threads You may not post replies You may not post attachments You may not edit your posts HTML code is Off | | | All times are GMT -8.
