Me and my friend static together, we are level 63. We head over to Aydeewa Subterrane or whatever and are fighting diremites. Eventually we have pulled all of them and there are none left so we pull a Qiqirn(those micemen) at 50% he drops a mine, then runs away. Everyone is like ....?? and we go over to him and he is just standing in the corner like nothing happened and never came back.

I think I did quite well as a 64 PLD I decided to try my had at tanking primes for the first time with the LS. I proudly stated I hadn't been one shotted in ages, just doesn't happen now. Low and behold one astral flow later I'm laid face down feeling an idiot.

Other magical moments would include who nuked that pug, oh that would have been me whilst killing myself at level 15 in valkurm dunes. then theres always using sword and shield for 30 levels of WAR before anyone explained to me the weapon ratings for each job.

I'm in Kon highlands one day farming as a thf/rng when I notice Steelfleece on WS. I'm only 50 so he could easily eat my spine. Then a 70ish Brd comes running up from the crag. He sees me, he sees it, then sends me a /tell "Watch, I'm going to kite it"

So I watch, and call some of my lower lvl friends, one of whom what a mid 30 whm, who have never seen an HNM before to come watch as well. Now when the Brd claimed Steelfleece he was on the north east side of the crag by that small mountain with the Clay tablet cave. He went all the way around the south end, which is where I lost track of him, and tried to lap the crag with the Ram behind him. Now by the time I caught up to him again, with my Whm friend with me, he had a sliver of life left. His last words to me, right before Steelfleece finished him off were "Damn Draw in."

He had a 60-70ish Sam friend show up to get claim, but had it not been for my mid 30 whm friend raising the Brd, the Sam woulda been eating dirt too.

Fighting in Gustav with the Goblins, the Red Mage drops a DS+Cure III on me and Converts as fast as he can for some reason. Well I never saw it coming, and really there was nothing I could do about it, but the Goblin started casting Bomb Toss and ended up throwing it over his shoulder to the Red Mage without even turning around. I wasn't worried about Shield Bashing it because they were out of its distance, but it ended up tossing the bomb pretty far and catching him with only 2 HP as he tried to heal himself.

There's always a funny story involved when you manage to land a SATA onto your Bard or Red Mage. That'll teach them not to stand behind the enemy.

Yes I discovered that right before I discovered that dirt doesn't taste very good when it's served with a steaming helping of freshly-severed pride.

Then there was one time when my LS got claim on Bloodtear, and me, a MNK/SAM in his late 40s, and a DRK/something in his endgame were all trying to kite him round in a circle.

The idea seemed to be for me to rest for enough MP to raise the mnk, at which point the DRK died, the MNK tanked while I raised the DRK, hten I tanked while the DRK rested, then died and the DRK tanked, I reraised and raised the monk, and tried to raise the DRK with Bloodtear beating on me.

Needless to say, we had quite an audience doing this.

Funniest thing I've seen? Prolly this guy that lacked patience when pting

Our whm barely alive cause we survived bomb toss, was resting, as well as me(war), a mnk, that guy(another war), 2 blm, and a whm. well this guy gets up during our resting period and goes after the nearest gob. And brings him back to camp even. Instead of the whole pt dying though I just let that guy die considering he made a rather stupid move to begin with.

Do you think I was wrong in doin that?
