That same thing happened to me when I was fighting an EM orc. I only had like 15 hp left, with the mob at more than 1/3 hp. I d/ced, and I fully expected to be dead when I logged back in. Somehow, I was alive. Reminded me of the bullet scene from Pulp Fiction.

Yes, he took the picture before he disconnected to show he was about to die. He disconnected and when he logged back in he was still alive. That is what he's saying the picture is a before the fact and his text statment is an after the fact.
