What useable items do you carry?

I'm sure this thread has been done before, but I want to see things now, and how the newer consumeable/repeatable items fit in. I also want to see if there are new items I don't know about, since I can't very well ask "I don't know if there's an item I don't know exists or not, can someone take the time to ask me if I am aware of the existence of ever pheripherally interesting item in the game to see if I am familiar with it."

Definition:

Repeatable:
Things like the EXP bands, that can be recharged, or items that charge themselves on a timer. (or even items that don't need charges, like latent effects)

Useable:
Things like warp cudgels and medicines (echo drops)

And just for fun, Food.



You can post things you only carry on a specific job if you want, like siehei on ninja, but I'm looking for things that never leave your inventory, no matter where you are, what you're doing, or what job you're on.









My items:

Repeatable~
Empress Band : EXP boost, pretty well known. Never comes OUT of inventory because I then forget to put it back IN.
Four-leaf Mandragora bud : "Believed by the tarutaru to be lucky..." supposedly acts like Treasure Hunter .25? confirmation or denial of this rumor can be posted, but I'm used to it being in my inventory.
Elshimo Frog : In Bazzar, price, 99 million gil. Bazzar comment: Do not shoplift or the frog will kick your ass. Fred Frog used to be for sale for 3 million gil, but someone bought him.
Goblin Die : Bazzar, one million gil. I did this to see if anyone would think it was a rare spell for COR and buy it. I don't know whether I'm dissapointed or proud that nobody fell for it.

Useable~
Echo drops : more than 6 at all times, even if I'm going to, say, farm crawler silk in rolanberry feilds. I will not leave my mog without echo drops.

Food~
Sole Sushi
Ginger Cookies
Boiled Crab (This one is only here cause I've been too lazy to throw it out for a month or so)



I never carry sneak oils or powders, or any form of warp item, a thing that occured to me somewhat randomly as I was browsing the forums and seeing people complain that "people never have their own oils/powders". I've been using BLM a lot the past few days, and I'm so spoiled from having WHM-power 24/7 that I keep forgetting to buy sneak oils. I very nearly got killed in altep thanks to this...

On the other hand, I'm so used to being either BLM/ or /BLM, I don't know how long I would survive if I didn't have Warp.

I always have a few potions, ether, empress band, next level wep/armor (if im exping)

Repeatable - Empress Band, Tavnazian Ring, Olduum Ring, Warp Cudgels x 2, Hi-Potion Tank, Reraise Gorget, Reraise Hairpin

Usable - 2 Toolbags of shihei @ all times, 3 Yagudo Drinks (Might come in handy one day..), a Perpetual Hourglass to spam for fun with, a Reraiser, and a Hi-Reraiser, A stack of muslums, 1 or 2 stacks of both Prism Powders and Silent Oils, if I start running out I usually just grab two stacks, or if i'm heading to sky or something..other then that I usually just have 1 stack for backup.

Food - Always have 2 marron glaces on me =D

I've had so many friends log onto my character and they're all like "Why do you buy this worthless ****!?" I laugh so hard, because I really don't know why I carry all that. I just like to be safe or prepared, I guess.

Edit: Didn't mean a stack of marron glaces. >_>. Meant just two.

A stack of Silent Oil, but no prism powder.... in most of the places I go, magic aggro is near sound aggro, and usually not sight. In any case, I can always run around back.

7 Hi-Ether drops.

And food.

The echo drops are just totally indispensible. The Silent Oil I mainly keep for... ah... linkshell members who've forgotten their own oil, 'cause I know they'll return the favor. The Hi-Ether drops I haven't ever used, but it's nice to know I have them for some kind of emergency.

Usables: Warp Cudgel, Tavnazian Ring, Olduum Ring, Reraise Hairpin, Empress Band.

Consumables: Food (as appropriate to current job/task), echo drops, silent oils, prism powders. Even as a mage with the ability to cast Sneak and Invisible, it's necessary to use these items when you're in heavily magic aggro zones, or when time is of the essence. Sometimes I carry a scroll of Instant Warp when levelling a job that can't use my other transportation items yet.

For lower level XP parties on low level jobs that use MP, I'll often bring materials to make juices of one sort or another (typically pineapple or melon juice).

P.S. What on earth is a "stack" of marron glace? It's not a stackable food item.
