Jesus christ.

This is dumb.

Whenever I warp in from Aht Urghan and hit Qufim, I always start running north to get to Jeuno. I don't know what possesses me to do it. Maybe I align to a certain polarity. Maybe the planets are always aligned the same. Maybe I'm retarded.

Just not I spent about 5 minutes travelling north and south trying to hit Port Jeuno.

In fact, I still fucking-well am.

What are your weird habits?

I don't have any FFXI habits yet, but I'm sure I will.

In WoW, my habit was before I logged off and right as i logged on, i checked the Auction House for items, I knew I wasn't going to buy anyway. :D

I have a tendency to play with the camera a lot while fighting. I unlock it and rotate all around my character for a...cinematic...feel? I guess. I've been doing it forever, and I can't seem to stop. Unless I'm really busy, of course. But while solo I do it all the time.

That's a neat habit, paying your respects to the late Queen.

I wouldn't consider that weird, well, it's kinda weird, but in the realm of the game, it fits perfectly.

Funny...

I just wanted to go to Delkfutt's Tower to get 13 Exp for my level, and I warped in from Aht Urghan, and went the right way.

Maybe I'm just drawn north?

O i have a similar habit, if i get ported to rolanberry, sauro or battalia, i almost allways take the wrong trail and end up in the next zone rather than jeuno...

And in sauro it happens ALL the time.. all the time.

In battallia, my habit is to allways kill the goblins that pop right next to you, i may have saved a lower level who warped from alzabi, i guess.. and i just nailed a quick 100-200 gil. lol.

In rolanberry, i allways stay in the ruins for a minute, dia some mob down below and laugh at it... "where's he at!? where's he at!!!?!" ^^

My problem was is I liked to constantly move both the camera and my character for more dramatic angles. This habit was stamped out of my by force when thfs didn't like having to deal with my...uh...'dynamic' positioning.

I do the same when i get dropped in Qufim, almost always head the wrong way ._. usually figure it out pretty quickly though. As for weird habits... i'm sure i have loads, none come to mind though

If I'm thinking about what it is that I would like to do, I turn my character around in circles standing in one place. I've done this in every game I've ever played that had a 3rd person/bird's eye camera angle. I guess I just like rotating the joystick, or seeing them spin in place helps me think....I don't know.

I do that so I can see whether it's save for my blu AoE spells.

- Keep myself refreshed (even at full MP in front of jeuno's AH)
- Always try to check the map (that includes dynamis and BCNM's)
- Plan to go somewhere to camp or exp a bite solo and end waving the targeted mob and warping
- Have to think "Kings are soon !" to wake up
- Running in circles around tarus
- /cheer random peoples

I always have to face my moogle when crafting in my MH.

I always need to have my shadow pointing at the mobs I'm fighting.

My macros always have to be arranged in the way they show up on my sorted list.

I always have to fish facing a certain direction.

I think that does it for my little quirks while playing the game. I probably have more that I don't realize I'm doing but it's amusing to know others have their own little habits as well.
