i always bring up my macro menus (ps2) and make sure the first one in both menues is highlighted at all times. even if i know they're still highlighted, i still have to check em at least twice

whenever i see "Treth obtains <item>" I always go to items and auto sort. then 5 min later ill do it again, even tho i didnt get anything new

whenever i see someone with badass armor, i check em, then 20 seconds later, if they're still there, ill check em again. i think thats the only one i have that annoys other ppl XD

I always have to face my moogle when crafting in my MH.

I must be going insane, but can you craft in your mog? I thought you couldn't.

Oh and wierd habits...

I open and close my menu while running, or check the map when I know where I'm going. I'll also rotate the camera alot, too XD I guess it's universal.

Yes you can. Sometimes, I find it more relaxing then synthing out in the open with people running by. I like how I set up my MH so I try to spend a bit of time with my moogle every once in a while. And it keeps him from peeking through my subligar drawer.

When I'm choco riding I always have to check the map. I auto follow people in my PT till we get to camp. If I'm waiting for the PT to get more members I go through my magic spells and cast them on me over and over again.

I do it too. I sort after every item unless I know I'm starting a new stack of it, and if I haven't picked anything up in a few minutes I feel neglectful and sort again, even though it doesn't do anything.

Well, the game drills the procedure (new item, ctrl-I, F, auto-sort; new item, ctrl-I...) into your head, so I guess I just get used to doing it at a certain frequency.

I have a tendency to play with the camera a lot while fighting. I unlock it and rotate all around my character for a...cinematic...feel?

I do that alot too.

Also, I have this wierd compulsion when I'm bored to just open my friendlist up.. and then I'll do it again 30 seconds later. I don't even really check who's on, I just open it up and close it.

Sort of related to the battle one, sometimes I'll move the character around while engaged.. kinda like I'm physically dodging. Just for fun

I have an obession with the zilart artifacts, and a lesser one with the maps.

A. Why do I always spawn on the telepoint facing east?

B. What correlation do the lines on the conquest map have to do with the occurence of random white 'walls' in the zones (like the one in Jugner forest)?

C. I am currently attempting to map every zone on the Mindarta continent on one sheet of paper so I can see what shape the areas we can't go into are in. Once this is done I will map the walls on this macro-map and prove whether they do or do not line up with each other across the zones.

D. Why won't they let us walk up dragora's spine/climb the backside of the crags? I attempt this incessantly anyway.





I auto-sort on a 30 second timer also. I think it's perfectly natural. Like blinking.



But I also compulsively sort my magic spells. I had them alphabetically for a long time. That was a lot of effort to maintain. Now I auto-sort my magic.

Very soon I will 'edit' my magic's auto-sorting because it is clearly defective. All the teleports except Vhalz are together (but why aren't they in alphabetical order? They should be!) but then I have reraise, then sneak and invis, then vhalz. Why is Vhalz alone? And Reraise, ok, put that by Sneak and Invis if you want (I think it makes more sense to put it by Stoneskin and Aquaveil, since it can't be cast on other people.) Why is Slow between Stoneskin and Haste, if Paralyze is between Stoneskin and Aquaveil? That needs to be fixed.

And we already decided Reraise was in the wrong place I CANT EVEN FIND RERAISE II!!! Seriously. I know it's in this massive list somewhere but damn hellfire if I can find it.



And this jumble of bar-stuff has to be fixed. They should be sorted into bar-elements, and then bar-statuses right underneath the elements. And then each category should be sorted alphabetically.


I mean we don't just stick Curaga inbetween Cure II and Cure III do we?

No matter what job I play at any level I am tempted to refresh people when their MP is low. And I always concider hasting a THF when I see them in my party. I also want to refresh teleporters....

I constantly want to tell newbs things about battle and partying in the dunes (SATA, elements, voking, pulling, ...gear) but I know they won't understand so I try not to anyway. But if it's a person with an advanced or who has a high rank then I won't hesitate to point it out to them :D

Hm...whenever I'm bored I watch old cutscenes with my favorite NPC (Ajido-Marujido). I guess I just find all of the CSs with him funny or interesting so I watch them when I have nothing else to do.

Okie...I think that's it. And like Aelathir I compulsively autosort sometimes too, lol. I mainly do it in parties where a lot of items drop or I'm waiting for a certain item to drop.
