Ok lets turn this around how do you feel RMT and those that help them should be treated?

I'd like to know the approach you beleive in and lets see if that could be used instead.

Actually I was pointing out that i was going back, and reading the Allak thread like RD wanted us to (just by pointing out his thoughts on people who party with gilsellers), and so far there has been people objecting to it. Others who support him.

(Im bored since today my brother is playing, and this other computer doesnt have ffxi on it).

And once again he still hasn't awnsered the question.

and every admin on this site is condoneing it by letting it continue. there really in the end is nothing we can do about that. But I will continue to post my oposition as long as it exists.

Then, I hope they ban you for not respecting their decision and spamming these forums as you are obviously incapable of walking away from a site you disagree with the management and content of.

My opinion, RMT sucks. They should be avoided and all that. They should NOT be MPKed because then you become the bad guy doing it.

As for the people who party with them, what about them? They're not causing the Sellers to do anything they won't do anyway and harrassing them about being in the party only makes you the bad guy. If you tell them and the Sellers are kicked, oh well TS for the seller. If nothing happens then oh well go about your business, you have no right to try and bully people into booting someone for any reason.

Guilt by association does not work. What if your best friend bought gil? What if your super successful end game LS filled with game long friends used bots? What if you had a friend that MPKed others? Would you Blist them and bully anyone who helps them with a name smearing list?

What if your best friend, who has been lfg for days, finally gets an invite to a great party that you discover has a Gil Seller in it? Would you force your friend to leave? And if he didn't would you harrass, Blist and smear his name for the rest of the game?

But the fact he claims it's not harrassment, while openly admiting it IS harrassment shows that what he is doing is wrong.

It's called a shared gaming experience, where one player makes one action he could be easily ruining another's experience without even knowing it just as one player could easily ruin the experience of another player's while fully knowing it. Ignorance can not be claimed as an exuse here because the fact remains that the player is facilitating the progression of the RMT, which in essense is supporting them. Does waiting four hours for a party really justify ruining the end game for your entire sever?

No, so why don't you argue that for a little while? Nobody is going to heed passive warnings; using minor threats is the only real way to make sure they take notice and think about it. Of course if there were other ways that involved ice cream and hot fudge I'm sure he'd be all over it like a fat girl, but life isn't that pretty. In an ideal world he would definately be the bad guy you make him out to be, but this isn't an ideal world.

A lot of ramble in there but the upshot is your belief is that the community should alow people to party with sellers. I disagree I feel it is our reponsiblity as a community to make life as hard as possible for sellers. Those taht aid them for me land in the same category as sellers as the servers Vermin.

Thats the point my friends wouldn't thats what defines them as people that are in my social circle. None of us want the RMT or the vermin in there hence we wish to know hwo they are.

Should it arrise they are in a party with sellers and it has. I would tell them and they would leave, if they don't well I'm not smearing their name I am simply stating what they do. How can it be a smear if you think its acceptable to do?

No one who takes the action should be ashamed to be named as such as they are evidentally comfortable with it. If they are comfortable with it all they need is am end game LS that excepts that type of character. There are plenty that will, people even accepted the Super boys and joned them in siniCorp before Krazi ran off with the whole LS purse.

If it does in the long run compromise their end game only one person has psotioned them there and that is themselves. The truth is it won't though someone will accept them because there are enough like minded players on each server.

To cap it off I've just gone 0/8 on new, stupid kitty.

And I believe someone brought up if the person was stupid and forgot the site and my in-game name, why should they be punished if they cannot find the list to get off it.

Answer: Stupidity and irresponsibility is not an excuse. Try it with paying taxes, doesn't work, you still gotta pay even if your 'stupidity' caused you to forget or not do it.

You can not slow it down, you can't dent it, you can't even make it trip up. To think otherwise is pure arrogance. If you wish to show your ill will towards RMT you have every right to ignore them, and make a list that says who to ignore. But you do NOT have the right to INTENTIONALLY harrass, threaten, attack, MPK or in any other way actively hinder someone else's gameplay. YOU could get banned for that, they won't get banned for being in an Exp party.

And whether they listen you or not is nothing you can ever control. You have no authority in this game, you are just another player.

I don't need to, you constantly do a good job of undermining yourself. Unless you wanted to actually portray yourself as a spoiled child sitting with his fingers in his ears saying, "I can't hear you, I can't hear you". Or maybe, you believe that by repeating the same thing for another 10 pages everyone who disagrees with you will cave in like a mother to a whiny child.

Should we not contest claims against them as well?

Should we look for them in preferance in parties as they will have longer play time and half a dozen PLs?

This attitude is what got them into sky and through CoP, they didn't learn how to do it, they didn't progress through it, they were led there by players with your attitude.
