The best way to do it is to either level a new job the slow solo way, or sync down with someone so the mobs you fight are less than level 50. If you are doing it solo at high level, then doing one of the early pages in Kuftal or Boyahda Tree is the best spot, but it will share a drop with Kindred Seals above 50. Iirc, they can only drop once every five minutes, so I would imagine its very frustrating.

Regardless of your TH level, the game limits the drop rate to 1 seal for every 5 minutes. The best way to maximize BC drops is to sync down below level 49 and fight mobs that are EP to you at that level. If you have a second account, this is where it would come in really handy. Sync down to something on your second account and just whack away at things with your main, lotting the seals as they drop. Pick something painfully easy to farm that stays EP for a while. For instance, even at level 10 I believe the worms outside Bastok still proc as EP for something stupid like 10-20xp. To a melee PC, they usually go down in 1-2 hits.

As a general rule, I just stick to Abyssea and convert all my Seals into Beastmen whenever I get the chance. I was at 0 about a month ago... and from just playing occasionally and converting Kindred Crests and High Kindred Crests, I've made it up to roughly 250 Beastmen seals already.

Alternatively, you can just go to an area where the mobs are still EP at 99... something like Cape Terrigan works well for that. Sure the drop is shared with Kindreds... but even those have a conversion of 3/1... and you won't suffer the time-out and re-time issue you're complaining about with Abyssea.

Well, thank god I left Paladin locked. So I'll do a little quest, unlock PLD then work on PLD while farming the seals, that seems like the most reasonable choice right now. Since I had no real plans to take PLD up. So I guess I can use it for low level farming. I'm out here in Wajoam Woodlands farming off the Fomors. Not sure what else is out here to hit. I was told to the Colibri's give drops of the seals as well.

Everything drops the seals. And in Wajaom, it should all go down pretty easy to you.

I think it’s 1 seal per party every 5 minutes.

And by that I mean let’s say you’re in a full abyssea alliance xping, The treasure pool can hold up to 3 seals, where as if you’re solo or in a single party of 2-6 people, you will never see more than 1.

If you’re doing anything with a friend, try to form 2 different parties if possible to double your seal rate.

People are knocking the game due to its flaws. SE is trying something new, they can't appease everyone. The graphics are good enough and I'll simply adapt to the game. It's how I've always been with MMO's. Sure it won't be XI which is what I hope its not taking after since I like variety in MMO's. Plus I can't wait to see the new manthra's. I've been teasing myself and trying not to look them up.

Back to the subject at hand, I hear a rumor of the Signet lessens the chance of you getting seals? I do have to say I am starting to believe it.

Having Signet actually increases the seals drop rate to 2 every 10 minutes where not having signet decreases the seal drop rate to 1 every 5 minutes.

I never want to go to Temple of Uggalepih ever again, but knowing my desire for plot, I'm most likely going to be heading back there again someday... Two freaking hours killing Tonberry Cutters for one stupid key! Four coats later and I finally get one.

Den of Rancor, three hours. There is no bloody way the Unlit Lantern has a drop rate of 22.2%. There is absolutely no way that is correct. Three hours in that horrible place and I only get one lantern (ten coats, some rare/ex item and a Thundaga II scroll).

Final peeve is for the Old Wounds weapon skill quest. So many frustrations and mistakes within 30 minutes... so many, that I "shut down" my game for the night.

Judging by the fact that the highest-leveled job in your signature is Paladin, I'll be assuming that you're using that when I say that Savage Blade is a huge waste of time. It's pretty much just Fast Blade 2.0. If you want to do a cool jumping animation, go use Uriel Blade in Campaign (itself almost strictly inferior to Glory Slash . . .).

Of course, you could just be unlocking it because you want to kill time and have nothing better to do on your hands. If that were the case, though, getting frustrated over it totally defeats the purpose.

If anything, that could be a peeve unto itself: how useless Savage Blade is. And most of the WSNM Skills, for that matter, apart from Evisceration and maybe whatever the Great Sword one is . . . and I think Steel Cyclone.

Yea I was a little disappointed in the WSNM quests as well.

Decimation (axe) is pretty bad.
Blade: Ku (katana) probably would have been awesome if the hits could crit but…they don’t.
Asuran Fists (h2h) isn’t horrible.

I will say that I’m liking the Dagger one though.
