Also, I just attempted Feuerunke. My crit high was 13, regular hit high was 7, highest exenterator was 75, Aoelian Edge is the best damage source, game froze about halfway through. (All 5 of those are peeves.)

Also, am I a bad person for liking the fact that each Flame Geode I get is basically a certain 70k in my pocket? Undoubtedly, I'm going to have karmic retribution later when I find out that I actually want to make a STR Shikargar.

Hayde and I blew an Orange Abyssite last night and didn't even get a drop for our effort. That was a bit of a bummer.

@Cid - What vnm? I was doing Verthandi for my bud Rooks Scythe and we made a killing off that crafting item she drops. He needed 10 eyes, probably took 20 total kills and got like 8 drops that sold for 400k a pop. Was nice.

Problem with STR Thokcha is that this is 2m cheaper (shame you can't dual wield them:

Obviously the price comes down if you farm flame geodes yourself but end game linkshells and RMT groups have Ifrit's Cauldron pretty much monopolised so there is no reliable way of mass farming them on my server.

Speaking of STR Thokcha. I can't build two at the same time because that would be a sensible idea. Oh no if I want to build two I have to keep them on separate trials so I have to do everything twice instead of just dual wielding the daggers on the same fucking trial.

Yeah I used up all my flame geodes on my Thokcha. I never even considered making two. As far as which is better between Thokcha and Aluh, I think I read that Thokcha is better by slim margins except in Aby, where the 'increases critical hit damage' pulls Aluh ahead (but I'm still not buying one).

Paired Thokcha look hilariously powerful. Wind Thok's are also really nice for tanking and soling since you're pretty much guaranteed to hit the evasion cap with them.

I think they stack more for the crafter storing them to sell than the person buying them. And, I guess if they stack for the crafter, then they can be sold as a stack, regardless of how much sense it makes.

Black Triple Bats. Oh dear god Black Triple Bats. I've been camping this fucking NM for 3 weeks straight and only gotten 1 kill. I need 2 more for the Twashtar Trial.

Basically here are the issues:

• Bats only spawn at night
• If you don't kill it you have to piss away an hour doing nothing unti lthe next night fall
• The PLACEHOLDER for the NM only spawns between 2000-0400
• The Placeholders CAN AND WILL despawn at 0400 unless they are red
• Becasue of this the placeholder itself isn't even a guaranteed pop
• There are two groups of bats that could pop a PH. Both are just out of Wide Scan range of each other to mess up mob order on the list if you switch camps
• There is every chance that the placeholder can wander to another level and out of the pop range without you realising
• The PH and NM ONLY spawn on one little ridge but always wander
• Did I mention that the PHs are only up from 2000-0400 while the regualr bats are up fgrom 1800-0600
• Basically there are only ever 4 bats you are interested in, 2 of which aren't even a guaranteed spawn...
• Killing just ONE wrong bat can mess up the entire camp for the ingame night.
• There are people on this server that like to kill random bats for shits and giggles when they realise you're caming Black Triple Bats.
• People think that they are helping when they team up with you by killing everything.

Seriously. I'm questioning as to if a Twashtar is even fucking worth it. Been stuck camping this thing for 3 weeks and only gotten a single kill.
