Another pet-peeve that just arose: People that complain about ???Items from Nyzul. Friend of mine got flamed on Quetz's local forum because he logged or dced after the run while holding the ???Ring that dropped off of Bloodsucker (NM). The idiot proceeds to flame the guy calling out to people to not invite him to Nyzul anymore.

Seriously, its a fuckin ???Item, chances are its a fuckin Leather or Brass ring for fucks sake!

Been doin Nyzul for a year and a half now...............only once did the item appraise into the item the NM drops, that was last week when we got Amikiri on floor 66 in a kill all enemies floor.

I don't hear an audio notification until I get into FFXI, and at that point I have to exit all the way to POL to get rid of that stupid flashing mail thingy.

Huh, weird. I got the notification pretty much right when I ordered. And then I go straight to ignoring anything about POL mail immediately afterwards.

Gnats in Campaign and the people who enfeeble them...

Gnats are fun to fight, but yeah having people dumb enough to enf them, or to follow you when you specifically say you are pulling a group of Gnats far away (so they don't kill everybody) can really mess up your strats.



Still, nothing like going RDM/PLD and tanking 5-7 Gnats (lost count) at the same time (and for way longer than I expected.) It's fun and also gives you a good amount of Notes.

Now I respect that it's the person's run to organize as they wish, so generally the Blm only ones don't bother me, except this time.

This time it was a shout for Mnk/Sam/Blm, which was fine, their run and all. But as the hours passed and they were still shouting and still @11, suddeny it became looking for War/Mnk/Sam/Blm.

Guess suddenly Warrior was looking alot more attractive for some reason.

It just irritates me when people deign to accept one of the "lesser" jobs when they have slots they need to fill for cannon fodder.
