My pet peeve is... not being able to level my main past 56 without a HUGE time sink investment.

I can only play for an hour a day, and on days off (which I get once or twice a week), I can play maybe about 3-4 hours max. Even just LFP takes that, never mind a party.

The fact that I have entered my 14th consecutive hour looking for party on my 53 drk

Edit: Make that 15 hours. I haven't had an xp party on my drk since before I went on holiday (got back on the 29th). I am really sick of this damn game now!

People that want to level a job in {Valkrum Dunes} (lol) but keep there hp set in Jueno. Theres almost a 100% chance of you being dead in dunes... then after 30 minutes with no raise they complain?

No, I'm not being sarcastic. Just that my friends didn't believe it took me from Retail release to about 2 years later to get my DRK to 72. Oh and by the by, I absolutely abhor static parties. So, no, I wouldn't want to form one either and maybe that's why it took so long.

My number one pet peeve at this time is something that would be familiar to all beastmasters (and those in training).

Keeping in mind I am a newb bst (level 14!), I'm sure that it gets a LOT worse as you go along. But I digress. I was levelling in La Theine yesterday, only to be sent /tells by a warrior who was being powerlevelled, claiming I was "stealing his mobs" and that "bst was gimp." WTF. He should have been in Dunes instead of wasting his and his friends' time in La Theine. GRRR.

Silent parties.

I finally got an invite on my RDM (I'd been seeking for nearly 12 hours - I'm not kidding) and so I quickly warped to Jeuno and got my invite. Once there, I asked which job they wanted me to sub.

No response.

Said that I'd sub WHM since we didn't have a dedicated WHM in the party.

No response.

Suggested some folks that were LFG.

No response.

Then the leader asks where we want to camp and everyone gets chatty.

I feel like talking about parties:

~When there are thousands of DDs lfp, and the only ones who aren't afk are already headed to parties.

~When leaders or members continue to communicate nearly fully in the auto translate system, AFTER we have established that everyone in the party speaks fluent English.

~People who don't see a problem with going afk for 20 minutes.

~People who don't see a problem with going afk every 2 battles.

~When you are trying to find a replacement for yourself, ask if a certain person is ok, and you get no response from anyone in the party.

~After said replacement arrives and you begin to log out, someone disapproves of said replacement.

~Tarutaru or Hume red mages who have less MP than me. (I have about 734 with my gear and marron glance). And I'm not talking 30 less MP, I'm talking 200-250 less MP. I end up having to take the more MP-heavy things like curing, and still convert less often then they do.

Pet peeves that'll never die:

Caedarva mire parties. Imps & overcrowdedness. Need i say more there?

Casting a healing/debuff/haste/-na spell, even macroed it in party, 5 secs after it's casted, message for it -.-; If you're in bibiki with a whm, you should know what Onozo does for whms, make or break them >.>;

Skillchain dependant people. Don't get me wrong here, i like to skillchain, part of my job.... but when ppl through hissy fits or sound like they are demanding this and only this.... yea -.-, makes me like ws spam only. Or the ppl who can't notice primary use of a ws for hate control is TA Shark Bite <.< >.>;
