On topic: Picked up two more Merit Abyssites (Xibalba and Warbler) to get me to 5/6 on those.

Yea he’s a pain in the fuggin ass. Not sure what level I tried him at, but I couldn’t solo him on bst. Once I realized this, I used conflux 4 and ported across the map to 5. About 2 minutes later, I pulled up widescan to see if tunga was up. Turns out I was still tracking Warlber and he was one square above me. I paniced, went into shock, and another 2 minutes later he kills me.

The fuker never deaggroed ; ;. He traveled all the way across the map to get me

Just finished dynamis as a Pup. I think it's pretty clear that a Pup/??? can do fairly well here.

finished up with about 120 worth of currency. Which isnt anything spectacular, since i can get about 200-225 on bst

but a it was my first run and i can see what changes i can make to help future runs.


-I have a Taru Sash now with Th+1 but it might be helpful to go /thf as well (i went /war and barely used zerk/warcry)

-My Bst is better geared than my Pup, espically in the weapons department, having Vereth would cetainly change things up a bit. infact i did no gear swapping at all :/ (havent used pup like that in a while)

-TEs, mainly the 20, were a slight issue. No WS to find the 20m fast. Had to get a little creative on some 10s

-Started at Hippos, which stole my 1 atk food that i brought.

-had a lot of accidental aggro a few times right atfter time changes, so i had to mow down mobs w/o hope for a proc.

gonna be trying this a little more often. Procs werent hard to get and i saw 0 competion with at least 15 poeple in the zone.

Powered down my account after 3 years of uninterrupted play.

I figure there's no point in getting stuck with monthly fees for FFXI while I'm busy with Guild Wars 2.

Although in my defense I had a good LS and didn't focus that much on getting things done back then, so it was more like a glorified chatroom with gaming options to me. <_<;
