Picked up a pair of Augur's Gloves last night. They drop me down below cure potency cap, but allow me to use something else in the feet slot. I'll have to check to see which is better. Also 20/50 on Glav Shells and our first 'no one died' Glavoid.

A good week for me:

- Got Hagneia (sp) Stone drop from HKCNM Moblin Comedy
- Got 2 Heavy Metal Pouches on one Qilin run = 20 plates
- Got my Saber Shoot for Ebisu Rod, already had my Opal Silk, just waiting for conquest tally this week to pick it up ( I went 170 for Shoot, and 142 ish for Silk)

And Price of Lu Shang's Rod on Asura is going up and up! Good time to sell!

Beat the Shadow Lord and am now Rank 6 in San d'Oria.
Made it to Norg and now know what happened after defeating the Shadow Lord.
Made a derp and didn't realise I lacked two crests to finish "Whence the Wind Blows."

I am loving the plots in FFXI.

Within the hour....Cid is good luck =P we ended up with an extra bone as well.

In terms of progress--16/50 sobek skins, not a huge progress but it took us about 2 days to farm up the sobek pops and we have not gone back to kill them yet. We did kill Yyg's pop and I believe Firewind has 2/3 now. Not sure if he's willing to let me use his pop since...apparently he wants to do a Kannagi *one day* (Hint hint, I have a glavoid and itza pop I can trade you ...) but regardless we have somewhere between 9-10 pops ready.

In other progress, I finished up my Merit abyssites leaving me at 2800~ HP in Abyssea (yeah yeah, I know lolAbyssea) and I manage to finish my destiny abyssites tonight. After Fire logged Cid helped me with 2 Ketea pops before he went to bed, putting me at 4/6 Card of Voyages for Iga +2 feet (I had 1 to begin with, and we got 3 from the two pops). After killing Ovni seven times (I kid you not), I finally got my last 2 and I'm now a happy owner of the OP Iga Kyahan +2. For once in my FFXI career, the Japanese were friendly and I teamed up with a dancer where he got 2 stones to complete his set and I got one. Afterwards I soloed about 4 pops with no luck in which I took a quick break of sanity.

Finally, I decided I'd try one more time before bed and I found a JP ninja/pld (yeah, weird) soloing Ovni. I noticed they were in Neo-Nyzul gear so I asked if I could join for a voyage card and they invited me. Through that I got my last card! Also finished my +2 iga pants doing CC/Sobek spams. I'm 3/6 wieldance cards on hands, 3/6 coins on helm, and 2/6 on body--need to get those done, maybe some time this week.

Oh yeah. between those 7 Ovni kills I teamed up with some JP PLD and a DNC(?) that wanted red proc, so I got that for them and I ended up with an Abyssite of Soujourn I was missing as well as Atma of the Heavens.

As for me. Mnk is at 70 now, got creed armlet so just need the seals to upgrade it. got a couple of mnk seals with the guys and after an hours farming with hayde, firewind and cid last minute got my stone and bone for the old rarab tail so now firewind and I are ready for the lvl 95 cap mnk when hayde, cid and yyg are about to team up to kill it.

@Jarre it wasn't bad, I mean--it probably sounds more impressive than it is. I'm generally not one of those people who gets to knock out all my seals, +2 items, or whatever in one day (except when I don't need them) so it's been more of an accumulation of time. I've probably been sitting on my +2 items partially done from anywhere of a year to at least a month, I've just finally decided to get off my ass and try to help or solo them if I can--because to be honest, seal/+2 farming groups aren't as plentiful as they were at the 90 cap, and you certainly won't find them outside of prime time.

Actually I don't mind popping Sobek at any time anyway. The skins (for if you go over 50/50) and NIN +2 items can be stored until later (for when I have NIN at the cap for example).

I do also have a partial pop set for Itza. I can't remember what else I need, will have to look it up, but I do need that guy for the zone kill anyway. Plus I he drops +2 drops for the WHM head and THF Head and Body.

MKD Finished and Selenian Hat obtained (-10% Pet Damage Taken / Pet: Regen). Totally bitchin' SMN tanking hat. Also nice to have the TH Atma to compliment my THF.

FINALLY sold the Sixth Virtue, though at a somewhat lower price (800,000gil). I /t the buyer and thanked them. They said almost didn't buy it, but decided to as they did not feel like farming up ix drg... not sure what that means.

Now to get the Yagudo Crest, though I'm not entirely sure if I'll be able to do that alone (linkshell leaders/friends aren't online).

I soloed my Yagudo Crest, though to be fair I had Swift Shoes in my favor at the time.

That said, the Brass Door stays open longer now, ever since one of the last couple of updates, so you should be good to go for the most part regardless. Sprinter's Shoes certainly couldn't hurt, though.

Also, I have a few accomplishments:

Capped Parrying.
Capped Sword. (Still need to cap Enfeebling!)
(Somewhat) successfully soloed Ruby Quadav, in spite of a couple of false starts (zone lines are magical). Didn't drop the Testimony, though, so I'll be able to try for a smoother run tomorrow.
