Samurai Relic Feet mine from dynamis jeuno, and damn goblins suck bad. Samurai 74 now and we lost the zone with 4 -5 full party wipes before we got booted, we wernt serious about the win cause loads of people didnt turn up, think we only had 26 people. Got pup*2 Cor *2 Sam from what I remember.

Now I gotta get my samurai back up to 75 with a buffer for friday next run.

Beat CoP 8.3 without a wipe, thanks to a Mnk who basically solo'd the last 1.5 Rdm pots of the fight after my last available Curing Waltz IV 130HP to 900+HP. Though it was late and against our better judgement after that fight, we beat CoP 8.4 and I can say tanking Promathia is a very fun duty. Thanks for the assistance Prishe.

You don't even want to know ... was a bad run because one of the flies couldn't be found, so we were short on time, after Fairy Ring we went straight to boss. Was a dumb judgment call but we would have timed out otherwise so it was worth a shot. It's only 500k and some exp, right? :/

We're never this fail. We just really had some bad luck with the flies and the aggro.

Also just got back from a genuinely fun linkshell Brenner experience. You see, I was just wandering about in there killing a lower-level person or being killed by a higher-leveled person on my Paladin, but one of the linkshell members just arrived sporting his 30MNK/15WAR, so I thought, "sweet, I haven't broken out my RDM in a while; this should be fun!" And it was.

Just from the matchup of 30 MNK/WAR versus 30 RDM/PLD, you can already get the gist of what happened, but here are some highlights:

I accidentally kill him with a 5 damage Shield Bash.

He Hundred Fisted. I Chainspelled in return. No more details are necessary.

In the final fight, I had been reduced to 3 MP (mostly because he was smart enough to not let me rest too much from the previous engagement), but I had just finished Enfeebling him, buffing myself (well, for all practical purposes, anyway), and my TP meter was quickly approaching 200%, not to mention that he was already in the orange at this point. RLB FTW (literally). He then remarked "Ah, so it wasn't the poison that was doing me in," (which I never cast Poison on him at all, and just assumed he was referring to Dia), which was perfect timing for me to say "Never underestimate the blade of a Red Mage, for it wins where the magic falters." We had a bunch of similar banter preceding it, of course, and the "good games" where appropriate.

Some more quotes include, when a higher-leveled Red Mage appear (in AF and everything), I pointed to him and said "he's the guy you should be afraid of.^^" The aforementioned Red Mage went on to fight a similarly-leveled Paladin, between the two I had also witnessed an in-game marriage for, so it was a battle between husband and wife, essentially. The Paladin later remarks "damn rdms," and then the Monk goes "tell me about it lol."

But, yeah, I had fun. It definitely felt like an art getting back in to the flow of enfeebling my opponent again - once his attacks are Slowed, that gives me the perfect opportunity to cast Paralyze and Blind, and then I would go about reducing his defenses with Gravity (-5% Evasion) and Dia . . . like I was saying, fun. Definitely a great experience . . . but was it worth staying up this late? -.-; Dang linkshell leader organizing it for 10 PM P-S-freaking-T.

Got my Dyna-Windurst clear last night which was the last I needed for my access to Dyna-Beaucedine and I got some fancy new Etoile Bangles while I was at it. I don't know what was up last night but we got Relic weapons until we only had 20 min left and suddenly started getting AF like it was candy once we'd all given up on getting any. I swear we musta gotten 10+ mauls, several swords, a few daggers, few other weapons I can't remember... it was nuts on Relic Weapons... I finally Delevl'd from 75 for the first time because with all the CoP I've been doing, I haven't had the time to rescue Windurst Waters from {campaign battle}.

Incidentally... what happens when a town is lost to {campaign} mobs?

Needs more mp recovery though :/ But that'll be coming up in a few levels with Magic Hammer and someday when I pickup the Mirage Jubbah.

Although lately I have taken to dragging some low level mob with me as a mp battery since my MP Drainkiss is rarely resisted on them. Unlike on Imps for instance, and some of the beastmen don't have MP, such as summoned pets and mobs from the Belfry Towers.
