I was so excited when i got my chocobo license. I went on joy rides from jeuno to who-knows-where. good times.

capped club skill, got staff skill to 222, worked off latents off club of trials, soloed mysticmaker for the earring. . . pretty much what summed up my weekend

Hmmm. In the last week I have done the following:

Taken NIN from 72-75.
Obtained 4 merits (2xcrit, 1x katana, 1x evasion)
Obtained Koga Khayan (AF2 Feet)
Cleared Dynamis Jeuno
Defeated Kirin
Tanked Shiva Prime and obtained Shiva's Claws
Rutter Sabaton run (1/8 @#$@#%@)

That's about it. Pretty busy week if you ask me. I was off work all week so I got to play a LOT.

What level are you? I know bards at lvl 75 that refuse to pt with pld tank or any pt that even has a tank for that matter. Why would they want a traditional pt that is lucky to get 6k per hour if they are god like when they can get in a tp spam, monk burn or manaburn pt making 8k-12k per hour. Hell I just dinged 75 and I have already been in katana/axe burn pts that made 10k+ an hour. I am at the point now that my search comment when LFP will say "BLM? <skillchain>? <no thanks> TP/Axe/Katana <burn>? <yes please.>"

No, that's just arrogance. Remember, SE doesn't like "non-traditional" and hence, things like manaburn will be a thing of the past. The nerf bat will be swung even harder on the next round and TP burn PTs will suffer as well.

Who said SE wasn't watching? LOL

I see Ninja Burn pt's becoming more effective though (SCORE!

) considering they already said they're not gonna take anything away from Ninja, just make it more of a DD. If anything that'll just make us more effective as a Burn pt.

I don't really have a problem with burn parties so long as they're not so much better that people reject other setups out of hand, like blms waiting lfp for hours for a manaburn, or this bard who is too uber to go to waste on a mere 6k per hour. I'd love to see other viable party types emerge, but after all the game is about interacting with other players, not refusing to interact with them.

Anyway, back on topic. Best accomplishment. Probably soloing nin quest at around 43rdm/blm. All my buffs were gone and both my hp and mp were in the red when the 3rd leech died, but I was so proud of myself at that moment. Everyone told me I'd get owned, but I pulled it off just barely. Looking back on it now, I was such a weak player then too. So I made the mistake of telling a level 50 rdm friend that she should be able to do it without too much trouble, since I was just able to pull it off several levels lower. She got shredded. I felt sorry for her and sorry for my bad advice, but at the same time it really boosted my ego and reminded me of my own skill. There's nothing more satisfying in this game to me than to succeed with greater wit where greater might has failed. ^^

I level Paladin, and I refuse to party with Bards. When I level my Dragoon, I refuse to level with Warriors. Why even join a party if it's not going to work out? I need ballad, and that's something bards don't have the patience to offer a tank. Dragoons and Warriors just don't SC well, not at all, so I refuse to party with one and drag down the rest of the party.

My latest accomplishment? Made out with seven Tukuku Whiteshells from the last Dynamis Windurst, and they go for about 60k each.
