72 Bard. Woo! Now I can finally equip the Sha'ir stuff that's been taunting me for the last 7 levels, and put away my hobo gear. Shame I don't have a Manteel, but I think my Carapace body I still have from my Maat fight fills in quite nicely... never mind the bone/cloth mixture.

I got dragged up to sky for the first time the other night... I have been avoiding it like the black plague. We fought Suzako and Byakko, the bird and the tiger one...

And my head and legs Aquarian Abjuration dropped on both... And I got both of them !! o.O

Damn I hate sky, but I can't be too miserable, as I got both drops...

But now that means I have to keep going to help the others get what they want out of it...

And I'm getting a couple of friends to craft my cursed items this week! (yes, its cheaper on ifrit to just buy the crown but dammit, i want a HQ ) Yay

And LV57BLM yay!
I still don't have my Moldavite Earring... Maybe tonight I will try again..

Why have you been avoiding it? I find most Sky events to be quite easy and simple, for good items. Unlike Dynamis.

In my own case, it's the time commitment. Once I go one time, I will have to go many times, and the Sky LS my friend wants me to join has runs four days a week - Thursday evenings, which I can't really make, Friday evenings which are OK, Saturday afternoons, and Sunday mornings.

Anything during the daytime is horrible for me, the kids are running around and I just can't be depended upon to do anything of any quality. And four days straight where I'm required to make an event just isn't possible for me. Making Dynamis once a week is hard enough.

Oh, I remember when it used to take almost 2 days to take Kirin down. These days he's down in a couple hours, I wonder how that came. Perhaps in 2 years we'll be going through sea with level 60 jobs. I understand your point though, but you don't have to go to all events. Do you not need anything (anymore) from sky? If you do, I still don't see why you have to avoid it like the plague.

I got my O.hat~ So happy about that. ;D I had tons of fun doing it at first...and then I managed to steal hate a couple times and died on like 4/7 runs...yea but still, I got my hat so yay~!

Finally took care of CoP 2-3.

I tried to solo the Minotaur as BST. Died 6 times soloing it, and one time duoing it with a friend. On one failed attempt, I got the Minotaur down to about 10% before I flubbed up on Mortal Ray (I think I hit my Fight macro too early). I was fairly confident I could solo it on my 8th attempt, but a group of 5 JPs arrived at Minotaur just as I was about to go in. They were kind enough to let me join, so I jumped in.

I didn't have time to finish the mission with them, as I had to log out after the fight. So I went back as THF to solo the rest of the mission. The lever puzzle was a little tricky to pull off solo, but after about 10 minutes, I managed to pull it off.

It feels awesome having accomplished 2-3 in a mostly solo fashion.
