Okay so I was on the Mhaura>Selbina ship one day specifically to go after pirates cause I was bored. I left the compy to go check on something, adn when I came back, low and behold the ship was full of pirates. 'What fun!' I thought. 'Time to bash some heads!'

I noticed that everyone was standing away from them but didn't think much of it. 'They must be too low level to fight them,' I thought foolishly. Then I noticed Blackbeard standing there.

Blackbeard begins casting Burst.
Nanatsu begins casting Silence.
Blackbeard resists Silence.
Nanatsu takes 1100 damage.
Nanatsu is defeated by Blackbeard.

As embarassed as I was, I just HPed. :p I couldn't face that boat of onlookers because I know they were all thinking the same thing.

Wtf.

At least I didn't drag it over to where the other passengers were >_>

So yeah, anyone else have any embarassing moments to share? :p

This one time at band camp...

The only time I'm embarassed is when I screw up a fool proof plan. We were just supposed to sneak and invis to DS spawn and kill it, but all the demons in both pits disappeared when I was recasting sneak! Of course somewhere deep down inside I know where they were going, but that didn't stop me from not saying anything and popping DS anyways.

Another embarassing moment is when I realized my scorpian harness had been hacked out of my bazaar. GMs still havn't gotten back to me on that one, doubt they ever will.

K, my first advanced job I lvled in this game was nin. I was still a huge n00b back then (for christ sake, I used sword main for my warrior all the way up to 30) and I was pting in Valkurm Dunes. Got into a group, went to camp and started to pull. Well, I was used to my War macros and accidently pushed my Mijin Gakure macro (which I thought was my pull macro) and exploded. After that, to make it worse, I D/Ced, came back 10min later, and hid in the corner of Selbina in embarrasment for 15min (the leader already had a replacement). I didn't play for a week cause of it.

Moral of the story? Don't macro ur two hours.

I was soloing a Tough Robber Crab in Kuftal in front of a group of people, normally I have no problem with these, and I was doing fine. But then I hit my Chainspell+Warp macro instead of sleep and disappeared with an "urrrrk" as I realised what I'd done.

Same moral as above, don't macro 2 hours.

My embarrasing moment happened when I was relatively new. I got invited to a party in the Dunes with a PL so it was your basic kill fest. Well I had accidently voked a goblin we were fighting when someone else should have and it kicked my ass. That wasn't the worst part though. The PL raised me and I was supposed to sit back and they grabbed another Gob. Well my stupid ass started fighting it again and it used a bomb toss which wiped me out in my weakend state. I had to get raised again, twice in less than five minutes and it sucked. I was embarrased and I told everyone I had to go to sleep so I disbanded and took off.

wasnt doing much of a good job in pt... ive missed lots of MBs and did some stupid shit, now puller links an extra mob and rdm sleeps the add, stupidly i cast dia2 on it -.- so people arent realising what has happened and why the mob doesnt get slept and we nearly wipe till i yell my lungs out for them to change target and sleep the other mob, then we did so, but it wasnt too good cus we were already worn out, lo and behold, i DC right in the moment the whm asks me to heal for he needs MP and the rdm is already dropping too... just great! now theyll think i ran away.. and funnest of all i cant go back! doesnt go beyond the first connecting screen... god sorry guys! ; ;

When I was maining RNG I was always main puller for the pt. Well, I had gotten into the habit of saving my sharpshot+barrage for the last 10% of the mobs health to finish it off. Well, towards the end of one particular fight, I do my SS+Barrage, and the 2 war/nins sc and finish it off before I can launch my arrow. So, thinking nothing of it, I run off to pull. Well, dumbass me forgets to remove the barrage before pulling. "Intensity deals 345 damage to the Sand Spider". Run back and died within the first 30 seconds of fight. Sickle Slash got off right after I got back to camp. >.<

I mostly solo, but I was in the mood for a party so like lots of other people I went the the Dunes and was accepted into a hunting party. The leader targeted a hare and started to pull, but there must've been some major miscommunication or something because the rare was wiping the floor with us. I was Curing the others as fast as I could, but our entire party was very quickly wiped out.

By a single hare.

It was a scene right out of Monty Python. "That rabbit's dynamite!"

As for macroing your 2hr...umm, yeah.

My pull macro was ctrl+0, you know the typical {Ranged Attack} <t> <call>
My EES macro was ctrl+9.
I'm sure everyone knows where this is going. I intend to hit 0 and accidentally hit 9. I dont worry about it, b/c hey I'm not engaged and last time I tried it w/o being engaged it didnt go off...well, I was wrong. Caspian uses Eagle Eye Shot. The (whatever) Crawler takes 458 points of damage. I run back to camp, but pally tank already used his 2 hr earlier, so I'm SOL. Get a raise, apologize profusely and immediately remove EES from my macro list.

embarassing but stupid moment. i lost a lot for a real good rare/ex item, i teleport mea'ed the group out, they lost the item because it hasnt been distributed yet. i got kicked out of the linkshell. most embarassing moment ever for 2005.

I don't know if it can be considered embarassing, but was my first time in kazham.
The party was going all right, and i, as a monk, was doing my job, but then..... i don't know....... i saw an white lizard, and i wanted to fight it.
I was far from her, so i engaged the fight, but my intention was to disengage quickly, but no, my pg had the great idea to hit it anyway, even if i was far enough........ in like 1 minute my entire party was dead.
I don't remember what happened then, if they kicked me, or if we started again..... i don't remember...

when i was PLing someone once, they kept asking to be healed when they didnt need it, and i was like 'dont worry, i got it' cuz i did
and they kept on asking even when i was doing a fine job

so then i says to myself... ill see how long it takes him to ask for help

and he didnt, and by the time i realized he wasnt gonna ask for more healing, he died

that was pretty embarassing... specially when he didnt want his money back. i felt sooooo terrible
