Re: This is awsome.
I just love how the guy's comment says 'Mosoku' when he's trying to say Monk.

Re: This is awsome.
Guy is a newbie. ン and ソ look to familiar to him.

Don't know how he got the box but best bet is editing your macros using a macro editing program like Vanahand. You don't need the JP client to be able to do that, and it's not illegal.
Those faces called "kaomoji" are not illegal either they are built into the JP IME.

Just like that

Why would SE put characters into the font if they don't want them to be used?

Re: This is awsome.
IME auto input could do that as well

The faces you see that JP ppls have are not inputed manually for example

you can set your IME so that when you type hello, then press spacebar you can chose a happy face automatically, its all pre-compiled perfectly legal, part of IME functions.

You can find precompiled database for JP happy faces. making your own is pretty simple too.

Re: This is awsome.
There is nothing wrong with doing
/sc 1 ...
/sc 2 ...
/sc 3 ...

Just play with it and then copy and paste it into your macro editor.

The shift-jis symbols are under symbols in your IME pad I believe.

This one is actually very easy because there is no spaces.

Same techique if you are using the windower version.

I agree. Just because it's hard to type, doesn't mean you are breaking any rules by doing so.

IME:
Type "けいせん" (keisen) and scroll untill you find the lines you want.
"おんぷ" (onpu) for the note ♪
and "きごう" (kigou) for a list of greek letters λ, russian Ж, stars ★, etc etc.
