Registration help

hey guys..i havent played final fantasy in about...well close 2 a year now and i am honestly trying 2 get back into the game...so i decided to apply again..but this is the problem my registration key for final fantasy which i used last time isnt working anymore..it says its the wrong key and i should type it in again..so i did..but i got nothing again..i dont know maybe i need 2buy another copy if i do i find that 2 be bullshit since i originally bought the game and i do own it...i already bought chains 2 because i was hyped 2 get back in...so if u guys can tell me the scoop or some type of info it will honestly be grateful...and ur honest opinons..is it even worth coming back..i tried WoW..it never hooked me i dont know why..so if u guys can let me know it would be awesome thanks guy

did you cancel your Playonline account? were you completely inactive for 2 years? if that's the case, then yeah, you're gonna have to buy a new copy (now in a convenient DVD package).
