In the end... Isint every one the same?
Yeah.

Well, I am waiting to get a WP for Cerberus, This game to mind, Well it has come to mind a few times.

Once you spend alot of time getting to 75, getting the AF and all, Isint every one the same?

I mean, Whats the difference? Once you hit 75, Your just like every othert 75 really :/.

Is the a difference besides race?\

Edit: Also i am sorry about the spelling.. I am really tired atm.

Re: In the end... Isint every one the same?
There are absolutely some more popular armors that most ppl wear. But still leaves enough room for player's choice imo. Not everyone wants the same boost from the same armor sets if you know what I mean. At lower level, the choice of gears are quite limitting so a lot of players may look exactly the same. This can still be true to the AFs and stuff. But evenutally ppl will start seeing alternatives with better stats that suite their needs. Even in the crowded Jeuno I hardly run into players with identical look.

Player skills and style of play also set the players apart even more imo. For example, redmages, we may wear the same gear, we may look alike, but not all of us can clear the hard monsters in 15 minutes like Apple pie does, nor perform well in PT that satisfy everyone else ;D

Re: In the end... Isint every one the same?
You got a point there....

I am just worried, when I finally get a WP for Cerberus again, and if i make it to 75, I am going to start thinking "Omg wtf, ALL 75s ARE THE SAME! UGH!".

Re: In the end... Isint every one the same?
When my family started to play the game... and started to reach levels that they were worried about their AF gear... they started asking alot of questions like this one. Here is what I told them:

You know what... Yes, Everyone character is the same; however, every player is different. Meaning... that you may see 100 Warriors all lined up in a row. But outta those 100 that you have played with, you will be able to determine which is the best because of the person behind the character.

I know a guy who plays his job extremely well... but he can be a complete jerk, and its because of that reason I will never invite him unless I was desperate.

So yes, the game does have limitations so that many aspects of a character will be the same. But I have yet to meet another Black Mage who casts in the exact same style as me. ^^ I'm unique.

Re: In the end... Isint every one the same?
.

I am still so worried... *sigh*. But I used to play... My highest char was a level 30 thief.. Every thing else was below 20, And the reason why i quit is because i kept getting killed, And it got so repetetive... And thats why i quit.

This time i am going to try to start as a warrior or monk.. But also, A friend who still plays. now has high level classes, and is rich. and is willing to help me with every thing.

So i dunno.

Re: In the end... Isint every one the same?
Not quite...Some people as they learn more about the game, and establish themselves are finally starting to think differently...sometimes good...sometimes bad...terribly bad.. but anyway..

Like my thief. at lvl 30 the new rng/thf set came out... with mostly racc stats and I thought to myself, "Hey I can handle the arrow burn, I should use that instead". Stat bolts rule, and also nice TP gain.

Re: In the end... Isint every one the same?
Oh Jei, you just HAD to mention Grendal ; ; I hardly see the guy anymore, and you're on Titan, and all the Taru RDMs I enjoy throwing comments back and forth at are spread out! And No one is as uber as me, so I have no partners in crime ; ;

Oh well, but yeah, at 75, you see as much variety as you'll see in the rest of the game. because seriously, everyone wears the same gear as their predacessors throughout most of the game. Is isnt until halfway through the exping (lvl 60 btw) that you start to see specializing ^^

I mean at 50, I was still looking at ppl and trying to judge- WAR, PLD or DRK XD. And SMN WHM and BLM keep one set of gear till AF. It seems that RDMs are among the only jobs that are as well varied as our spells. . . hmmm

4TW!

I like to look at attitude. Even if you are a suck-ass poor player, there is always room for development if your willing to open your wind to some advice.

Re: In the end... Isint every one the same?
I was playing wiht my new comer friend one day when we met a level 65mnk who claimed he get to 65 in 1 day. after a few talking the mnk didn't even know what a mog house is nor how to use auction house. he then admit he bought the account. I tried to teach him how to use A and mog, but he said those are basics and he's high enough that he doesn't need to know the basics anymore.
