Congestion During the Version Update: Addition 5
This is a follow-up to the previous news regarding congestion issues with the version update occurring since Jul. 19, 2005 2:00 (PDT).
We have confirmed that there is a continuous DDoS attack underway which has hampered our efforts and slowed the recovery process.
Our technicans are still investigating the issue and considering all possible options to bring this matter to a speedy resolution.
If you continue to have errors during the version update, please wait a while and try again later.

I used to just log on and get the shit lickity split. Last update it got pretty bad. Now its just getting worse and worse. I wonder if one of SE's servers is about to go kaput or something. They pissed that SE is trying to stop them and making it harder for gil sellers to make and sell gill. The last time we had this much trouble logging on was when the banned all those accounts awhile ago. Since the update took so long I think the problem will be harder and take longer to fix. Besides 100k+ people trying to download @ the speed SE caps you at wouldn't really slow their servers down that much. it's a what? 43mb download for PC users and 22mb download for PS2 users.
