i'm thinking about getting a mithra.....having one follow you everywhere you go when you summon it...and it doesn't die....and you don't zone lol

Finally got in and tested this for myself. Only faces available for female hume is face 1,2,3. Is it like that for other races?

Do you remember which options/npc got which face? It could help some others a lot that want a certain Hume female face.

First time I started the quest, I didn't exactly know what was going on, and I ended up with a 3A Male Hume- which, sadly, is the gayest thing I've laid eyes upon in the last six or so months. I decided to start over, and taking a wild guess the second time around, I got a
1A Male Hume- not quite what I was aiming for (my goal was 3A), but I suppose it'll have to do... for now.

For Female Hume:
Old man in rulude Gardens asks: "Did she have hair down to her eyes?" This gives you face 1.
Mithra in lower Jeuno asks: "Did she have shoulder length hair?" This gives you face 3.
Galka in Port Jeuno asks: "Did she have a pony tail?" This gives you face2.

I have a feeling I'm going to end up trying on my own to find my npc face. I'm pretty sure that it's possible, I could have sworn that I saw a picture of someone with that face as their npc. Once again, if you got the 6A Elvaan female (long silverish gray hair) let me know.

Interesting because for Mithra the Galka says the same thing.

Also for Tarutaru Male talking to the Mithra will get you Messy Hair which is face 2.

I'm not sure if this is right but here goes.

When I started the quest I talked to the Mithra in Lower Jueno that says something along the lines of "Did she have long bangs". I put yes and then went to the GUY in Upper Jueno about the favorite hair color and I clicked something along the lines of "Not your favorite hair color". Well during the next quest (where you find the child), the NPC that appear next to the child was a Elvaan Female with long BLACK hair. . . I'm not sure if this is the NPC that I am going to get, but he said it was the adventurer so I am guess it is so.

Whoever showes up after you talk to Bheem is that NPC that you will receive.

I kinda messed up, but I suppose I could live with it. Talked to red ghost > Bheem > got Tarutaru Female 1A. I guess Red Head is ok with me.

Split in the middle (Red Ghost) 1~5 A = Yes my favorite color, B = not my favorite color.
Guessing Neatly Trimmed Bangs (Aktaare) 2~6 style, (Same as above)
Guessing Straight Bangs ??? 4~8 style (Same as above)

I need confirmation on Neatly & straight bangs for Shantto's hair. I think she's 4 A

I'm not sure if we can even choose 5~8's style, seems like it's only the first set's style 1~4 with the two color choices.

From the way it's starting to sound here is seems like there should be maybe 4 characters to talk to.

First 3 by looking at the questions are distinguishable enough to make up at least 8 character setups.

Here is an example of what I mean:

1 = Yes
0 = No

000 = 1
001 = 2
010 = 3
011 = 4
100 = 5
101 = 6
110 = 7
111 = 8

Then the last one seems to make up the A or B for hair.

That is how I see it anyway. Unless I'm missunderstanding part of this. I haven't had a chance to try this quest yet.

The thing I wonder though is it sounds each person just visited 1 of those three and answered Yes to that one. If that is the case then you'd be only confirming one attribute the three questions given are clearly different enough to make a specific face style.

this is soooo sad. I got the shaft on the first try, then end up choosing what I would have thought would be one, and ended up getting a direct clone of myself. Now I have to wait in those lines yet again, just so I can return the pearl and try yet again, and not get what I want . . . and then have it next to useless? Come on SE give us an easy way to cancel and try again without having to do all the rigamoroll 20 times, because your writers can't adequately scribe descriptions that work right.
