Was wondering about that also, if it is still 24 hour it might be better to get the original Peacock Charm via BCNM (if they put it in a BCNM). 1/3 on new LL, 0/1 on new VE. So on topic, no they're definitely not 100% drops ~confirmed ;3

Argus/Leech King was 21-24 long ago, changed to 16-30, now it might've been changed again.

Also, these are uncomfirmed(I think?) but on eLeMeN's BCNM section, if you look under strats it says the 4 old NM items might drop from these:
-BC30 "Petrifying Pair", Leaping Boots
-BC30 "Birds of a Feather", Emperor Hairpin
-BC40 "Royal Jelly", Archer's Ring
-BC40 "Under Observation, Peacock Charm

Royal jelly is a real easy run to do, but unless archers are an exceptionally common drop, expect snipers to rise in price drastically. The boots, pin and charm I can understand the switch, 90% of the people who bought them, bought them to wear. But no one actually *uses* archers, they're always used to make snipers. Changing the drop on Stropers will make people not hunt them, +2 acc at 30 isn't that great. Only reason why they were farmed so much was because people used archers to craft snipers so now all the crafters and lvl 40+ melee are kinda screwed.

p.s. I'm 1/1 on the new Emp drop. Wasn't much competition when I camped it. I also heard from friends that Lizzy was only being camped by 2-5 people. So far, other then the Archer ring change, the new NM drop change seems to be a success.

Sniper's rose from 550k to 800-900k, right after the patch. I'm sure the drop rates on these BC's won't be too bad, and I'm really hoping that the price goes down soon.

On the other hand, I feel really sorry for the BC60 "Dismemberment Brigade"... with the new "Under Observation" and Peacock Charm thing, Spectacles have become almost useless (unless the drop % on Peacock Charm is very rare).

Between the new BC drop and the seemingly shorter spawn time on Argus with his Rare/ex version of the charm, I got a feelin the charm/amulet will become a bit more common to see.

Well, venomous claws still run into the millions of gil, so I don't really see it reducing the price that much.

I believe the claw drops from a KS battle and a few over camped HNMs, which is much different then a BCNM 40 and a long wait repop NM with a rare/ex drop.

Ive killed 2 stropper chymes and havent gotten the ring drop yet ; ; so I dont think these items are 100%.. that or SE just hate me >.>

Unless they add the new items (the new archers, and bound) to make Snipers and Wing boots, these items will remain the same in price. All I'm thinking is that SE is still trying to see how this will fair in the game. Even if the peacock charm does rise in price (which may), all I'm going to ask everyone is, why bother getting the tradeable item instead of just farming Argus and get the equivalent of it? I think that's what SE's is trying to do right now and people have to realize that. If the Hairpins will run into the hundred's of gil, why not just farm VK and get the Empress hairpin? Rare/EX and it's the same. And it's free.

Now only if they do the same with the Monster Signa, The Fuma Kyahan and the Kote....I wonder how that will be.
