Returning to the game after a year

I left the game in July of 2004. Ballista was up and running and people were talking about what might be in the new expansion "Chains of Promathia". I decided to come back and start over. One of the first things I've noticed is that prices are higher for raw materials. I'm on the same server I used to be. A year ago, I could get 3000 gil for a stack of honeycombs. Now they're selling for 10,000-12,000!

I'm at lv. 9 and already have 36k gil. I don't remember having that much last time around. So what else have I missed during the course of the previous year?

1-9 I made like 40-50k ;D
crystal prices have gone up quite a lot.
and all the cheap junks are now expensive.
12 bat wings 4k
12 rabbit meat 5k
12 rabbit skin 4k
fire crystal 4-5k
hunting around sandoria can make you a future.
