Awsome Cut-scene In Delkfutt's Tower
I'm not sure whether this post should be here, in Entertainment Forums, or in the Video Vault, so if it has to be moved, then please forgive me Mr Moderator for posting here.

Anyhow, I had my very first (and maybe the last too) glimpse of the cut-scene in Delkfutt's Tower this evening, just as I had finished in a pt on Quifim Island. A friend once told me that if you go inside the tower, you see an amazing cut-scene, and I went searching for the tower some time back and couldn't find the enterance.

However, after my pt had finished its round this evening, (as we had been partying in front of the tower enterance) I thought I would go in and see what it was like in there.
Lo and behold, what do I see, but the cut-scene I had been waiting to see for ages. It was quite long too, but really AMAZING I thought. I couldn't belive it!

Anyhow, I'm just wondering if there is any possible way in which I could see that cut-scene again. Are there any programs which may be able to convert the file in which the cut-scene is held at all? (preferably to .wmv format or any other popular ones out there)

It's just the most AWSOME cut-scene I have ever witnessed in the entire history of Vana Diel :p
and I would really love to watch it again if this were possible.

Please help.

Why download it when you can see it again in Delkfuts by trading 1 gil to the goblin footprint?

Just inside the tower's entrance there are some Goblin Footprints. Trade 1 gil to them and you can watch the cutscene again. Same goes for any other cutscenes in other dungeon areas.

Now that you've seen that cutscene, head to Upper Jeuno and talk to Monberaux in the Infirmary (next to the AH there). Then (after another awesome cutscene) head to Ru'Lude Gardens and talk to Pherimociel (G-6) inside the Ducal Palace. You can now enter any of the Promyvion zones by examining any of the Shattered Telepoints next to the Crags of Holla, Dem or Mea.

And Yashin, don't be such an arse. Some people are new and don't know these things.

Hi.

Well, thanks for trying to help out but unfortunately I haven't got anywhere with this at all. :-/
The only option I can see in that link, is where someone mentioned a program, DivX Codec, and I unfortunately I have no knowldege of how to use it.

I have the DivX Player, which gives gives the option that you can use something called Doctor DivX to convert video files, but unfortunately I can't use it, because you have to pay a fee to use it, which seems rather pointless to me, as it's not something make everyday use out of.

Again, thanks for trying though.
I appreciate it.

To hell with viewing it online. Follow these directions.

1) go back inside Delkfutts Tower
2) Locatet he goblin footprints right near the entrance.
3) Trade 1 gil to the goblin footprints
4) Watch cutscene

(like Feenicks and Yashin said)

Hmm..... I think I am still rather hoping that I could just find SOME way in which I could still see the cut-scene (out of/ away from the game) in safety without risking my character's neck trekking back to the tower incase she gets caught by any giants or other creature waiting to wreak (not sure of the spelling there) havoc on her/me.

Also, I find that it would just be nice to be able to watch it in peace, so that I can get a full capture and better understanding of what is going on, and it could be a little awkward if I'm constantly having to look down at the chat bar, incase a friend shows up and sends me /tells wanting to chat to me at the same time.

If there was some easy to use program I could convert to, it would make things easier for me.

Now THIS, I DEFINITELY like the sound of.
I never knew there was more to it, and that I could go and finish it off, even to get into one of the new areas.
Thanks for the very helpful info there.
I would be more than happy to cover what you have just explained, the next time I log in.

The Cutscene after Zilart Mission 4 was pretty awesome. And the first Zilart Cutscene was pretty cool too.

Hmm, whats so hard about that?

- Reach lv. 50
- go to Delkfutts Tower
- set status as /away
- Trade 1 gil to Goblin's Footprint
- Enjoy cutscene in peace

At lvl 50 the Delkfutts Tower monsters on the first floor won't even bother with you unless you attack them which you won't while in the cutscene. While set as /away you get no tells and the person that sends a tell gets a nice message saying you are currently away try again later.

EDIT:

The monsters probably won't bother you at 40 either I forget at what point they all switch to Too Weak on that first floor.

If you are really that anal about it though then if you are on the PC version just get something like Fraps to record it then. Just be careful what 3rd party programs you decide to get, you could asking to get yourself skrewed by messing with them.
