      The Sacrarium paintings (possible spoilers)

Whats the deal with the paintings in Sacrarium?

The right one looks like Promathia in chains destroying the Celestial Capital, but the left one confuses me. What exactly is that? Looks like some sort of blueprint of Tu'Lia on top of a tower with 5 crags attached to it.

I recall one brief cutscene talking about the paintings and how they were 'forbidden" but I can't quite recall which cutscene that was.

The left is Al'Taeiu, the right is Bahamut...I think. :x Could be wrong on the left.

defintly wrong on the left hehe... no way that could be anything but Tu'lia. 5 craigs, crystal line, delkfutt tower on the center and Tu'lia floating above it.

The right looks like Al'Taeiu being destroyed or attacked by Bahamut, Promathia or some other being of dark skinned nature.

I agree, that has to be Tu'Lia, the second one I believe is referenced to by Despachiaire and Prishe as Al'taieu...

It's also interesting to note that these two paintings were "stolen" from the Temple of Uggalepih. If you look at the room where you use the Paintbrush of Souls, there are two missing paintings on the walls - specifically, these two paintings.

Left painting definitely Tu'Lia. Anyone else notice the map of Ru'Aun above the devilish figure in the right painting? If it's not the map, the design of it looks awfully similar.

I love stuff like this that SE puts in the game. /clap for the find.

I was actually curious on the story on the left painting. What happened to that structure? Where has 2 of those 5 crags gone to, and how or why did entire structure get seperated? I recall the Sacrificial Chamber cutscene talked about it... but it's kind of hard to get to the Goblin Footprints in that zone...

Bonus painting found in Temple of Uggalepih:

This particular painting shows Tu'Lia above Ro'Maeve instead of Delkfutt Tower in the Sacrarium painting.

Well, one of the two missing crags is Fei'Yin before the you-know-who-luu decided to trash the place. That's what we watch in the Sacrificial Chamber's cutscene. (BTW, did anyone else find this zone way more interesting to look at and explore after that cutscene?)

Lots of speculation surrounds the 5th crag, I'm not sure if we ever reached a definite guess on where it is though. My suspicion is Ro'Maeve, since from Zi'Tah's zoneline, the structure certainly looks like a crag. On the other hand, I'm only on ZM5, so I'm going to reserve judgement until I catch up on the cutscenes.

Left paiting is Tu'Lia floating about Delkfutt with the crags of Mea, Dem and Holla surrounding it as well as Ro'Maeve and Fei'Yin. If you're sceptical about the fifth "crag" being Ro'Maeve go back and watch one of the ZM cutscenes (I think the on on entry to Norg as Rank 6?) where Ro'Maeve "powers up" along with the other crags. Alternatively, call up a map of Vanadiel and see how all five places surround Delkfut's tower.

very interesting details, anyone figured out the placement and order of the paintings in Uggalepih? It seems they tell a full story..

in zilart expansion days I assumed this is Goddess Uggalepih, but maybe it's Goddess Altana? The arms being open and angel/light theme make me think Altana.

The fifth crag, so to speak is located in Al'Taieu...

The crags are located over the locations of the five crystals, so I'd assume since the final crystal is located in Al'taieu, the missing crag would be as well.

And I think you'd have better luck finding a program that lets you explore zones, rather then trying to find the .dat file. I believe FFXItools allows you to do this.

Is it possible to have a tool to view the cutscenes in FFXI? I know it'd be spoiling it but I'm just curious. Probably would involve having to find which file the data is in and just launching into FFXI to use the engine to view it or some wierd thing like that.
