looks like there's no gil for sale on titan. obviously, ige sold out of their gil supply for this server. however, the most important consideration is that they DID NOT REPLENISH this gil supply and the site still won't allow you to sell gil for titan.

did SE do something to them that they didn't feel like telling us? is this a sign that ige is pulling out of ffxi? is there hope that the gilselling on ffxi is no longer profitable?

Yay, they don't have any to sell for Hades either. Hopefully they'll stop but they're still selling items/accounts on both titan and hades

They have plenty for sale on Midgardsorm, though they haven't been buying from normal people from quite some time.

yes but IGE is the main one that 75% of the gil buyers go to, because IGE can be trusted very well....lol I admit it they are very nice and do not screw peopel over...or I have not heard of peopel getting screwed over :p

Hmm, that is intresting every single server on FFXI says the same thing on IGE. Says they are currently not accepting any currency from that server. The other thing I notice too is the number items they have for sale seemed to drops quite a bit, they use to have a well sized amount on each server and now some have none at all and others have only 3 or 4 items.

Were not talking about Buying gill we were talking about IGE accepting gil being sold to them. They no longer are accepting gil sold to them. So either they have some error occuring or they are planning to phase out that section.

So they'll sell their gil for people to buy then once their out will be what we'd have to wait to see what happens then. This is of course assuming that the gil they have to sell is actually from other players selling it to them and not them with a business entity (sweatshop) providing them most of their gil.

They basically claim that they don't do any sweatshop type activities, so if it turns out that they are then have some major fraud actions that even being International will not protect them against. To bad though most fraud stuff you can get away with just a slap on the hand if you do it right

Heh, oops.....Boy guess I didn't read the top right. That is intresting though that they got gil back for Titan even though they won't let you sell gil to them. I didn't notice till now too that IGE bought playauctions.com.

The fact that they aren't buying gil from people on their site though seems to suggest that SE maybe did attack them and ban their accounts.

well im from titan and after i heard the 800+ thingy i went on and checked to see if they were really gone, and sadly, no they were not gone, alot of them got banned because at some point and time they mpked someone, but alot of them are still there....


im just hoping this doesnt cause any kind of backlash where the gilsellers stock up on their gil, then unleash it onto the public, making gil prices drop very low causing more and more to buy gil.


fact is from one of the gil seller convo threads, 10k+ people buy gil accross all severs just from ige, so i really really do hope this makes things better w/o causing 10k+ people to quit because they dont know how to make gil the legit way

I went through most of the servers.

None of the servers are accepting gil right now.

Titan seems to have replenished it's supply.

Maybe the update scared them?
