Anybody know of a program like this? Something like modelviewer where it reads the dat file and plays the movie or something.:sweat:

As of now, the only way to record a Cutscene would have to include the log, S/R, ect. And then you'd have to crop all of that out, making it look pretty crappy. Would be awesome to have a way to view the cutscene from a third party program.

I don't think such a program exists, especially how the cutscenes are made, capturing your charactetr Data and superimposing it into the scene. If there was a program that allowed you to watch the cutscenes, you would only see the NPC's, your character would not show up, because they are added in with your Face style and armor combination.

Also, the cutscenes are probably nestled somewhere quite hidden in the ROM, ROM2, and ROM3 folders, so it would be somewhat hard to even find them, and then make a program to view them.

Only way I can see of this being done is running a program that watches which files are accessed on your computer. Go view the cutscene, and see what files are used. If its not pulling them from the server, then someone may be able to make one. If it is coming from the server...that'd be alot harder. Maybe if someone found a way to copy the movie before the S/R and such was layered over it.
