I just tryed to connect and it said there was a new update and I should return to playonline to download it. But as I'm sure you all know, it usually does this automatically when you try to connect, which isn't happening for me and I've tryed it 10-15 times now.
So everytime I try to connect, it gets past the ffxi intro scene then tells me to update, but when I go back to playonline nothing happens and it allows me to enter ffxi as normal, at least up to past the intro scene again where the cycle continues.  *Characters*

Thanked 577x in 361 Posts Gil: 12,247 Bank: 26,765 Total Gil: 39,012 Donate | There is an issue with the POL update. If you haven't logged in, don't. If you are logged in, don't log out. You'll get Error 3331 which tells you to get the update after you already have it.
As far as I know you can not manually update your FFXI. So you basically have to wait until they acknowledge there is an issue, figure it out, and fix it.
